We were kept informed on everything. Stuart was so organised on the day reassuring us everything was ok and also getting us 10 minutes on our own. The day ran so so smoothly, I can’t thank you all enough. Food was piping hot, lovely and served quickly. So many compliments from the wedding party. The room was organised and decorated beautifully, the venue organised and supported my room decorator. I had some things I had arranged myself to be put out and everything was done perfectly! The surroundings are perfect We had our wedding reception held at woodys in April 2017. We had good communication with the wedding coordinator and manager. Check in very efficient the accommodation was a room ( they have lodges ) but I booked a room. Very clean and tidy, nice location view was one of the lakes. shower room was very spacious and most of all clean. Great shower with plenty of room. Bed excellent n comfy. Great venue for a wedding reception didn’t have breakfast but it looked very nice and if the hot buffet was anything to go by it would have been delicious. All in all it was a great night. - MMiss Prim15/12/2022The wedding venue outstanding!The wedding venue outstanding!Booked lodges and rooms and the wedding venue itself for our daughter and son-in-law's wedding weekend 15,16,17th November 2019 and it was a resounding success! Booked 2 hot tub lodges, lakeside lodge for bridal party and most of the rooms along side the Malden Suite and a few hard standings for motor homes, check-in went smoothly both on Friday & Saturday. All accomodation was top notch, well received and of exceptional standard. Bride's parents & Bridal party occupied lodges with hot tubs..excellent! The wedding venue outstanding! Thanks must go to Stuart and the team for an excellent day/evening, good food, exceptional attention to detail, everything ran smoothly and the weather was kind enough to enable us lots of outside lakeside photo opportunities. As a lot of family are fishing enthusiasts, the venue was priceless, especially when fisherman were given the challenge of catching one for the groom to pose with...very kind gesture all round! We would highly recommend this place for a wedding setting and also for its food which we have taken full advantage of during our weekend stay...a lovely break in itself.
