At the Admiral Rodney we promise to make your special day memorable. Situated in the heart of Horncastle, our beautiful Coaching Inn is complemented by friendly, knowledgeable service from our team. With a delightful choice of settings, surrounded by a beautiful garden, the Admiral Rodney offers the perfect venue for those timeless photos of your day. By hosting just one wedding a day we can guarantee you are our number one priority.
'Hospitality From The Heart' is at the very core of our principles. It's not just a slogan, or a throwaway motto, it's something we have in mind with everything we do, it's part of the culture here. It's one of the reasons we won 'AA Hotel Group Of The Year 2023'.
Our venue comes with an option of two suites; The Top Deck Suite, with it's high ceilings and twinkling lights, boasting a sweeping staircase that leads to the garden & gazebo, perfect for welcome drinks when the sun shines through. It has a dance floor, private bar, and a seating capacity of up to 80 guests.
or The Admiralty Suite, a beautiful ground floor space, able to cater for up to 40 guests, for those more intimate ceremonies.
Both suites are accessible to all guests, thanks to our lift. Our Civil Ceremonies license also covers our outdoor gazebo, for those wanting an outdoor Ceremony.
Our Head Chef Lee, and his dedicated kitchen team, have catered for many guests, with a range of tastes & dietary requirements. Nothing is too much for them, they take pleasure in crafting their menus, which is why they were awarded the AA Dinner Award this year, for their excellent culinary creations.
Here at the Admiral Rodney Hotel there is a beautiful Bridal Suite only a short walk from the Top Deck Suite.

The Roberts radio playing Classic FM when we arrived in our well appointed room was a nice touch. The hotel has a nice vibe regarding lounge, coffee, bar & restaurant areas. All our food was top class & an excellent gluten free menu. All the staff were friendly & professional. As it was our anniversary the kitchen suprised us with a very sweet & tasty extra pud 😊 Definitely a hotel to return to.We really enjoyed our two night stay at the Admiral Rodney. Our twin room was very comfortable & spacious. The hotel has a nice vibe regarding lounge, coffee, bar & restaurant areas. All our food was top class & an excellent gluten free menu. All the staff were friendly & professional. As it was our anniversary the kitchen suprised us with a very sweet & tasty extra pud 😊 Definitely a hotel to return to.

We host many Weddings here at The Admiral Rodney, being so involved with them is extremely rewarding for all of us here. We take great pleasure in planning & organising them.
