It’s the perfect backdrop for your celebration, where you can design your day, completely your way! Thetford Farm Barn is set on an working arable farm in Lincolnshire. Rustic original features and contemporary natural styling has created a beautiful blank canvas for you to decorate in your own way. Whether it is an outdoor ceremony amongst the wild flower meadow or an traditional ceremony your heart desires, our dedicated team are always on hand to help, so you can decide where to marry, where to dance and where to dine. The Barns themselves have been sensitively restored keeping them original beams, double height ceiling and 20m long aisle, so you can really make the most of your special moment! There are dressing room suites for the Brides and Bridesmaids and the Hayloft for the Groomsmen to distract themselves before the ceremony begins... Both on opposite sides of the Barn! For your wedding breakfast, The Dining room has floor to ceiling windows that look out onto the enclosed courtyard. There are two bar areas for your convenience available with drinks packages on request. We have a growing directory full of the best suppliers to bring your visions to life. Choose from our preferred caterers to create your perfect wedding breakfast. The venue is wheelchair accessible throughout. We are completely pet friendly, yes that means your furry friends can walk down the aisle with you!

It was a fantastic venue for our wedding, with beautiful gardens and a stunning building to bring our friends and families all together to celebrate with us. We could not have picked a better location for our special day. Thank you to all the staff who made us feel welcome and special from the moment we viewed the venue to the end of our perfect day. Nothing was too much trouble for the team. We are over the moon to hear that the Barn is in the process of being renovated and we would love to go back and see it. Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?
Every corner of Thetford Farm Barn is a picture-perfect backdrop! But if we had to choose a few favourites, we’d start with the moment you walk down the aisle in the Ceremony Hall. That grand entrance and the first look between you and your partner is always unforgettable. Our Wildflower Meadow, especially during sunset is truly magical. There’s nothing more beautiful than the golden light over the open countryside and fields, creating the perfect backdrop for those dreamy, timeless wedding photos.
Have you thought of having a videographer / content creator join your for your day, as well as a photographer? Pictures tell a thousand words but videos capture all those unique moments you want to treasure forever.
When can I have access to the venue for my wedding day?
With our three-day venue hire, you will have exclusive access to Thetford Farm Barn from 10am the day before your wedding until 10am the day after. This means you can take your time setting up, enjoy all the moments of your big day, and unwind the next day without any rush. You’ll have full use of our beautiful preparation suites, the entire venue, and all outdoor spaces throughout your stay. Thetford Farm Barn is your home away from home, so enjoy all we have to offer.
What catering options are offered?
We work very closely with some incredible caterers who we guarantee will look after you and work with you to cater exactly what you are looking for.
Whether you are dreaming of a traditional three-course sit down meal, a relaxed afternoon tea, or those delicious evening nibbles, they will create something truly special for you wedding day.
We want you to have the choice of who you want to work with. You know what you and your guests like best.
Can we bring in our own suppliers?
Yes, absolutely! We love meeting new people and seeing how they help bring your big day to life. At Thetford Farm Barn, we want you to have the freedom to tell your story your way.
We also have a list of incredible recommended suppliers, from hair and makeup artists, florists, and photographers to live singers, photo booths, and even alpacas (yes, you really can have alpacas at your wedding!).
We’re always open to your unique ideas, so whether it’s something you’ve seen before or something you’ve only imagined, we’ll work with you to find the perfect suppliers to make it happen.
Do you have accommodation?
Yes! We’re delighted to offer plenty of accommodation options surrounding Thetford Farm Barn. And from Spring 2026, we will also have our on-site accommodation, including five luxury bedrooms for you and your wedding party to stay and celebrate in comfort.
In the meantime, we have a wonderful selection of local accommodation recommendations, with some options less than a mile away. We can even help arrange transportation for you and your guests, so everyone can relax and enjoy every moment of your special day.
