As visitors from Canada, our weekend wedding experience at this large country home was very special. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and well appointed. Beds and linens were top quality and many rooms came with splendid views. Owners were super helpful. The beach is a fun, 20 minute drive away. Highly recommended for all ages. We were impressed.

We had our wedding weekend at the stunning skendleby hall last weekend. It was absolutely perfect. The owners Ruth & David was so helpful, the setting is wonderful and the facilities excellent. Guests from far and wide all loved their stay. Couldn't have chosen a more special place for our special day.

We had our wedding here the weekend before Christmas and it was perfect. The venue was beautiful anyway but was also decorated beautifully with Christmas decorations. Ruth and David were so easy to work with and very supportive to make our big day special. The rooms for guests were lovely and had a real home from home feel. I especially appreciated the hot tub the day after the wedding to relax. I can not wait to have another family get together at the Hall.

We couldn't have asked for a better venue for our wedding. It was a wonderful day and the scenery around the Hall was perfect for photos. Ruth and David were brilliant at making sure everything went smoothly on the day. We look forward to visiting again... this time for a family holiday!

Absolutely beautiful all the facilities you would ever want. Very quiet and the village is great. Lovely pub a few minutes away. Very much enjoyed my stay.

We were lucky enough to book for our wedding and what can we say, AMAZING! Ruth and David worked so hard, we also recommend Chocolate fairy catering if you decide to stay as Fran is incredible and they work so well together. Thank you for our perfect stay we wouldn’t change a thing!

24 of us stayed at Skendleby Hall for my husband's 50th - what a brilliant venue, it has everything and Ruth is so helpful, would definitely recommend it is beautiful, so well equipped, and spotless. We used Skendleby Catering , WOW what amazing food and amazing service. we have a 2 course Italian meal on the Friday evening and a 3 course celebration dinner on the Saturday, both were outstanding. I cannot recommend Jen and her team enough. 5 star in every way.

This is firstly a fantastic place for a family holiday and when combined with a wedding midweek at the same venue, was the most wonderful experience. The owners are very amiable and the local facilities a good to incluing the pub

Had my wedding reception at Skendlebry hall in 2012 had such a fabulous time. We had another visit over the weekend of 23 October with family. Outstanding time at an outstanding house. Even have a hot tub and sauna. Must go back
