Hackthorn walled garden is an impressive venue just outside of Lincoln. Hosted at Hackthorn Estate which has a rich history dating back to the 18th Century.Only a short walk away from an incredibly stunning Church. With a bit of planning, it is possible to tie the knot and walk through to the gardens and your Tipi reception. The walled garden has an abundance of beautiful vistas to allow you to get unbelievable photos to treasure.

Hello, and welcome to Hackthorn Walled Garden! We are proud to have this beautiful venue as one of our three all inclusive tipi package deals in Lincolnshire, and its simply stunning! The Walled Garden is situated approximately 5 miles from the busy Lincoln city centre, so your guests will have access to all the shops, bars, hotels and restaurants for the weekend, and it definitely has the WOW factor as you walk through the garden door to the site of the fantastic tipis and garden.

Set up was straight forward, on the day Andy was on hand if there were any issues and on the day of dismantling all went smoothly. Would highly recommend the tipi tribe! We were able to set up the day before and make sure we were happy with the venue. Then on the day the staff were so helpful directing guests, handing out drinks and making sure the day ran smoothly. I especially want to thank the bar staff who repeatedly checked throughout the night if I wanted a drink and who looked after all of our guests. It was the perfect day!I couldn’t have been happier with the venue we chose for our wedding! We were able to set up the day before and make sure we were happy with the venue. Describe the best wedding that happened at your venue?
We have had so many weddings that all have their unique appeal at Hackthorn Walled garden. We have had a fantastic mix of formal and informal...and I love the relaxed informal weddings, that are full of character and fun! Being a bit of a foodie, I love the unique mix of street food businesses we have had onsite,and also love how stunning the tipis will look when its set up full of flowers, or quirky interior design like bikes, wreathes, photo booths, garden games and beer buckets!
What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Allow yourself plenty of time to get ideas! Get your friends involved, and write everything down! Definitely pop over to our open days and have a walk round, and get in touch and we will send you more photos than you could possibly need to get some inspiration to use on your big day
What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
Crisp walls! The couple met over a bag of crisps and had a huge pallet crips wall with sliced bread so all the guests had a crisp buttie!

Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?
there are so many to choose from.....sunset with a campervan in front of the tipi, golden hour in the greenhouse, sat down between the apple trees, by the lake, in the garden in the flowers, by the crumbling brick walls......so many you will run out of time!

the walled garden is stunning, and just a short walk from the church, or it can be set up for a ceremony by the lake or in the garden near the tipis. Its a stunning and versatile space!

The variety of venues we offer...each one with its own special twist, and the fact that they are all licenced, means each couple can arrive at the site and not have to worry about moving to another place.
