An intimate and unique licensed wedding venue set in 25 acres in the heart of the Lincolnshire Wolds. Stockwith Mill is a 17th Century water driven corn mill located on the River Lymn, nestled in the village of Hagworthingham.
Our family run and our exclusive use venue instinctively embraces the surrounding natural beauty. We offer stunning backdrops for your treasured photographs from the characterful water wheel, natural landscapes, pretty bridges and the enchanting rustic buildings.
The Exchange is a licensed outdoor ceremony area set in a stunning 5 acre field surrounded by wild flowers. We do have a covered barn should the weather be inclement.
For your reception, you can start with drinks and canapés on the Mill lawn next to the waterside.
The converted Stables, is an intimate indoor space for up to 48 guests, offering original exposed wooden beams and gorgeous country views. This leads onto the covered Terrace which is the perfect place for relaxed dining, socialising and evening party.
The Stables overlooks the 5 acre Paddock offering views across the Lincolnshire Wolds. If you’ve always dreamed of celebrating your special day outdoors then this space is perfect for you. Offering the perfect location for you to add a Marquee or Tipi (hired separately via our preferred partners) for up to 98 people.
We also offer Millers Field within the venue hire which makes the perfect spot for glamping. We work with 2 local companies who you can hire bell tents from which is perfect for those festival vibed weddings!
We pride ourselves on being flexible with whichever option you choose working with lots of local trusted suppliers to make sure you have the most fabulous day.

We offer a ceremony only option either indoors in the converted stables or outdoors in the wild flower ceremony area with drinks and ice cream or canapes afterwards.
We also offer the full wedding package with ceremony, reception, dinner and dancing or anything in between. All our weddings are bespoke to each couple.

The rain held off for the day and the sun made an appearance as we said our vows. We always dreamed of having a laid back outdoor wedding overlooking the Wolds and this was the perfect setting! Kristi was very accommodating before, during and after the Big Day! Our daughter has special needs and uses a wheelchair so Kristi made sure her needs were met and she was able to access the venue without any obstacles. All our family and friends (along with Keith the dog) thoroughly enjoyed the day along with the delicious food served by the Food Dude. The decorations were set out by Rea at Confetti Sweethearts and she made both the veranda along with the dinning room settings look amazing. Our disco DJ was Ellis at Ellis Band and he played all the songs we had requested. Would highly recommend Stockwith Mills for any occasion and especially your Wedding Day! The team at Stockwith Kristi, Nichola, and Simon were all absolutely amazing and really looked after us! From the minute we agreed to a date we were guided through the process of how to get our wedding sorted! Having never organised anything larger than a dinner out with mates, a wedding is a different kettle of fish all together! But the team at Stockwith helped us so much! Nearly every vendor we used was from their recommended list, and they were all amazing! Stockwith provided us with a live document we could update with vendor information, and we always received prompt responses to our queries and questions (of which there were many!). Nichola was our main planner/organiser for our day, and no question, or worry or niggle was too big or small. We were absolutely and wholly supported! The venue itself is beautiful, and wonderfully set out to have the day of your dreams! The staff were welcoming and warm, and everything went smoothly and to plan. Kristi coordinated everything on the day and despite the electrics going in the marquee before the wedding breakfast, a solution was quickly found and the day went according to schedule! Additionally, as two brides we both had to enter and walk up the aisle, and we were coordinated with precision that left our guests feeling emotional which is exactly what we wanted! We also wanted a dress change to surprise our guests for our first dance, and Kristi was able to provide a hiding a spot for us to do so! She was kind, attentive, and on the ball all throughout the day, and made sure everything went without a hitch. All the team really make the day special. From Nichola talking us through the planning and suggesting that we make it as personal as possible (by including our DIY hand painted gnomes) really gave us the courage to put our personalities into our day. Thank you for staying patient as we are very indecisive. Kristi greeting me at the entrance and explaining everything that was going to happen and what to expect really helped calm my nerves and allowed me to enjoy the excitement of the day. I didn't have to think about anything as she was there to solve any problems such as my bouquet ribbon coming apart and a tree hanging to low! And all the other things that I didn't notice because I was able to walking around in a bubble of joy! Thank you for making sure we got our ice cream (delicious and a massive hit with our guests.) And thank you to the gentleman refilling our drinks and lady at the bar (sorry I didn't get your names) you both kept my family happy!!! We had the most beautiful day that was so uniquely ours, with me even arriving by tractor! Nothing was too much trouble and every query was answered with lightening speed. Every single one of our guests commented on how special and beautiful the venue was and how it was so ‘us’. We truly cannot put into words how grateful we are to the whole team for allowing us to share this little gem in the wolds with our friends and family. We couldn’t have done it without you!! We are so honoured to be part of the Stockwith family. The venue was everything we had dreamed of for our intimate, relaxed, outdoor wedding and provided the most incredible backdrop! Kristi, Simon, Nichola and the team were amazing right from the enquiry stages, through to the morning after the big day! They provided us with some choices for amazing suppliers, answered all of our questions and kept us to date with work being carried out to the venue itself. There are so many positives to the venue, beautiful photo opportunities, plenty of space within the grounds, the stable is a beautiful place to relax and the bar was very well stocked! They all worked really hard to make sure our day was spot on, that everything ran smoothly and that we had the best time! Communication was great from the start and helpful throughout. After seeing glimpses of the mill on social media, we arranged a full viewing in person. Although it was the middle of winter, we could see the potential that the venue had for the our dream summer wedding! We wanted a casual outdoor wedding and Stockwith fit the vibe we were looking for, perfectly. The booking process was simple and we threw ourselves into the rest of the planning, using a number of the recommended suppliers. We took advantage of one of the summer open days the following year and the Mill was even more beautiful than we’d previously seen in the winter. We kept in regular touch with Nichola, who handled all the arrangements at the Mill for us, and we owe so much to her as to why our wedding day ran so smoothly! Our wedding day came round very quickly and thanks to Kristi and her military precision, every went without a hitch. Everything was explained so clearly and we both knew exactly what was happening and what we needed to do. We had endless comments from guests about how stunning the Mill was and how it was so different to anywhere they’d been before.
