Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?

There are endless photo opportunities! Weddings have exclusive use of all three contrasting rooms (the Great Hall with regal elements, the Cullen Suite with a light blue backdrop and great light and finally the New Library with wooden bookshelves) and use of Queen Street Gardens for photos.

Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at your venue?

Travels with my Father recently filmed some of their UK tour at Royal College of Physicians. We were joined by heartthrob Jack Whitehall, his father and mother who played the bagpipes.

What’s your favourite canapé?

Our caterers offer bespoke and gloriously extensive menu selection. It's so hard to choose one!

What’s your favourite midnight treat?

Personally, I cannot live without chocolate biscuits.

What is your venue's most unique feature?

Not only do our couples have three gorgeous rooms to use exclusively but they also have access to Queen Street Gardens while being right in the heart of Edinburgh.

What part of your business are you most proud of?

The Royal College of Physicians is not only a wedding venue, it's seeped in 250 plus years of history. Did you know that we have the largest medical book collection in the world?

Our historic rooms represent more then one period of time. Find Georgian architecture and designs, as well as Victorian.
