We held our evening wedding celebration at Ghillie Dhu on 28th March 2025, with just seven weeks to plan it (as we were married abroad) — and it was absolutely perfect. The venue itself was stunning, and the staff were professional, friendly, and incredibly efficient throughout the night.
We opted for the hot fork buffet, catered by Ghillie Dhu, and it exceeded our expectations. The food was delicious, the portions generous, and the variety of choices meant that even our guests with the most unusual allergies were well looked after.
But the true star of the show was Amy, Ghillie Dhu’s wedding coordinator. From the moment we got in touch, Amy was a dream to work with. She was responsive, flexible, and incredibly supportive, answering all our questions with ease — even arranging Zoom calls with us while we were still abroad. Her organisation was flawless; she thought of everything so we didn’t have to.
On the day itself, Amy was there every step of the way, making sure everything ran like clockwork. She was so friendly and warm, it genuinely felt like our best friend was running the event. She was always one step ahead, keeping a watchful eye to make sure we were happy and relaxed.
