Established over a period in excess of 500 years, Carberry Tower stands regally within 40 acres of its own private Estate parkland - just 7 miles from Edinburgh. With magnificent tree-lined driveways, sweeping lawns, landscaped ponds and meandering walkways, it's no wonder it is considered to be one of the most romantic places to get married in Scotland. The private Chapel within the Estate grounds has capacity to seat 150 guests and makes a perfect setting for your Wedding ceremony. And with floor to ceiling windows overlooking the walled garden, the bright and inviting interior can also be decorated to whatever extent your imagination takes you. The Champagne Terrace was a stunning gift from the late Queen Mother to her sister who used to live here and epitomises the grandeur and elegance of outdoor socialising in the true spirit of a truly grand garden party. The Banqueting Pavilion at Carberry Tower has the capacity to seat 150 guests for a lavish wedding feast and the stunning chandeliers and views onto the Estate gardens all come together to create a beautiful and unique backdrop to the most spectacular day of your life. After all the feasting and merriment, speeches and Champagne, the time has come to dance into the night and give thanks for a truly fabulous day! And the Parterre Suite with capacity for 180 guests is the ideal part of the Mansion House for evening guests to come and join the celebrations. A delicious supper buffet can also be served in this area and there is plenty of room for dancing and a ceilidh band too!

Our exclusive use facility fee pricing varies from £6,499, to £10,999, depending on the day of the week and the season. Our lower end pricing at £6,499 is based on a midweek wedding in January 2026. Our higher end pricing at £10,999 is based on a Saturday in August 2026, which is our peak season.
Exclusive use of the venue includes all of our function spaces and 40 acres of land as well as 30 bedrooms in the mansion house. Pricing is based on exclusive use starting from 12pm on your wedding day until 11am the following day.

- MMaz&Bob30/10/2025Fantastic weddingFantastic weddingWe had our wedding here in October 2025. We hired the venue for exclusive use for two nights and had 100 guests staying on site. Everything was perfect, from check-in Friday, casual dinner on Friday, breakfast on Saturday, the ceremony, the reception, the dinner and the dance. It is a beautiful setting for a wedding, with so many indoor and outdoor spaces. Autumn time at Carberry is also particularly nice with the leaves turning on the large trees there. It is also convenient to get to - it is hard to believe you can get all this within a short taxi ride from Edinburgh city centre. The staff were fantastic and kept everything moving very professionally, not just on the day but also during the planning before the wedding. And finally, the food is amazing. We had so many compliments about the food and dinner service from our guests, which was great to hear. Thank you so much!We had our wedding here in October 2025. The venue and the grounds are stunning, the food was amazing and on the day we didn't have to take care of anything. We were discretely guided through the whole event and could just enjoy our guests. We never felt any pressure to book and felt all our questions were answered in plenty of detail. The events team were very organised and highly professional over email and in person. Our wedding planning experience was nothing short of 5 stars from the start. The day of the wedding itself went off without any issues (and if there were issues, I didn't know about them which is the best thing you could want as a bride). The food was hands down amazing from hors d'oeuvres to drinks to dinner. The service and every single person on staff was friendly, kind, and excited to be there. There is not a single thing negative thing I could say about staying or celebrating at Carberry. The staff could not do more to help, Lauren, Agnes, Jenna, Dean and the whole team all worked together so seamlessly to pull off an incredible day. No job was too small and they all really took the time to get every detail looking perfect. I’ll never forget seeing the dining room all made up how we wanted it and how amazing it looked. We were so lucky to have had a beautiful September day so could enjoy our drinks reception outside and get some beautiful pictures in the grounds. One of the reasons we picked Carberry was the onsite accommodation and the fact so many guests could stay in the hotel and in the lodges. It was great to have friends and family all in one place for the Friday and Saturday. Our co-ordinator was Isabella and we could not have asked for more from her from our first meeting 15 months before to on the day. Isabella checked in us in the bridal suite all morning to make sure we were on track and went above and beyond making sure some last minute guest changes were captured and they had picture place cards! All the staff were so helpful throughout our weekend, answering any questions and serving us amazing food and drinks. They honestly were all so helpful and nothing seemed too much trouble both on the day or on our visits before our wedding. Can not thank the Carberry team enough for our amazing wedding day.
