Situated in the beautiful countryside of East Lothian, this exclusive use venue is set in an area of outstanding beauty. With stunning grounds and sea views, a wonderfully romantic historic church, a luxury Pavilion, use of Seaview House, 3 beautiful cottages and not forgetting the show stopping Honeymoon Treehouse as accommodation, it is one of the most unusual wedding venues in Scotland.
The 15th century gothic church set in the heart of the estate is one of the finest examples of its period and design in Scotland. Take a step back in time with the utterly unique half-ruined church that exuberates grandeur and atmosphere – perfect for the most romantic of ceremonies.

On the lead up, Carmen was supportive, knowledgeable and again made sure our day ran so smoothly. Dunglass was the first and only wedding venue we visited as we fell in love with it as soon as we saw it. We were planning our wedding from France within less than 5 months but they were incredibly helpful, providing us with an amazing list of suppliers. All our guests were blown away by the place. We would 1000% recommend this venue, we honestly couldn't have dreamt of a better place to get married! My husband and I visited Dunglass during an event back in April 2025 and as soon as we parked, we fell in love with their breath taking setting! Our guests had the best weekend and have been raving about Dunglass estate since saying how beautiful the venue was. It was more than we could ever of wished for. We had Kirsty allocated to our day and who helped us plan our special day and she was absolutely amazing! Every area of Dunglass is perfect. Getting married in the chapel was just unreal. We highly recommend dunglass and would do it all over again!The team was seamless and so helpful throughout the planning out our special day. Describe the best wedding that happened at your venue?
It was the kind of wedding people still talk about. Set on our breathtaking grounds of Dunglass Estate, the couple spent two unforgettable nights surrounded by their closest family and friends, wrapped in the peaceful beauty of the East Lothian coast.
They were married our estate’s stunning, part-ruined church — a place so steeped in history and atmosphere, it always feels like something out of a dream. As the couple exchanged vows, sunlight streamed through the gothic arches, and a gentle breeze moved through the trees.
After the ceremony, guests gathered in the courtyard for a joyful drinks reception, sipping Spring Spritz cocktails and enjoying elegant canapés.
Dinner was served our beautifully styled pavilion, with candlelit tables, a seasonal three-course feast, and heartfelt speeches. Every detail — from the wine to the glassware — was flawlessly handled by the catering team.
As night fell, guests toasted marshmallows at the s’mores station, danced under the stars, and made memories that will last a lifetime. The evening flowed with warmth, good food, music, and joy.
And when the celebrations finally came to a close, the couple and their guests stayed on the estate — ending the perfect day exactly as it began: together, in a place that felt truly magical.

Prioritize what matters most to you both — focus your time and budget on those key elements, and don’t sweat the small stuff.
What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
One of our favourite personal touches was a couple who chose to do their cake cutting privately, just the two of them and their photographer. It was quiet, intimate, and felt really special — a little moment of calm together before rejoining the celebration. Such a lovely idea.
