Featured within the venue is a specially developed ceremonial hall with glazed wall and original stonework, complemented by a spacious, daylight-filled dining room created from the estate’s historic cart shed.
Thoughtfully designed bridal and groom suites, a cosy bar area and three beautifully appointed cottages supplement the estate’s existing self-catering properties for guest accommodation.
With a plethora of sumptuous cuisines for you to design your own bespoke menu, this picturesque venue is the ultimate destination wedding location.

Sarah, our wedding coordinator, was truly exceptional. From day one she answered every question with confidence, warmth, and total clarity. She was incredibly attentive and reassuring throughout the entire process, and not once did we doubt that she was completely on top of everything. She knew every detail inside out and kept the day running seamlessly, allowing us to fully relax and enjoy every moment. So many of our guests commented on how amazing she was, describing her as the “big sister they never had”. She is an absolute credit to Broxmouth. The wider Broxmouth team were equally wonderful. Every member of staff was warm, professional, and genuinely invested in making our day perfect. From thoughtful guidance during planning, to hands-on help with set-up, to calm, friendly support throughout the day and evening, nothing ever felt like too much trouble. The attention to detail across the venue was flawless, and the reception room looked like an absolute dream. The food deserves special mention — we have never been to a wedding of over 100 people where every single guest raved about the meal. An incredible achievement and a huge credit to the team. What stood out most was the atmosphere created by the staff: calm, joyful, organised, and full of heart. We were told from day one that Broxmouth is a big family, and that couldn’t be more true — we felt it in every interaction. The only sad part is that it’s all over. We genuinely wish we could do it all again just to keep working with such an incredible team. We are so incredibly grateful that we chose to get married there. It was the first venue we visited and fell in love with it straight away. The whole team at Broxmouth are exceptional - a special mention to Simone who went above and beyond for us and absolutely nothing was a problem. The whole process was seamless and we have Simone and the team to thank for that. Throughout the whole wedding weekend all of the bar / catering staff were so friendly and helpful - we had lots of guests commenting on it too! We couldn't recommend Broxmouth Courtyard enough to other couples - you won't regret it! Raffaela was absolutely wonderful during the lead up and on the day. Communication was made so easy and no question we had was too much. She really helped us make our day exactly as we pictured, catering to our little extras we wanted to incorporate to make it our own. We can't thank her enough for making our special day so memorable, we greatly appreciate everything. All of the staff were so helpful, kind and professional. Our guests were very complimentary of all the staff that worked so hard on the day. The food was absolutely delicious and they do a wonderful job of catering to different dietary requirements. With the groom being vegetarian, it was really important to us to have plenty options for him and the rest of our guests. It was great to have so much accommodation on site for most of our guests and every one of them was stunning, spacious and clean. Our included honeymoon lodge with hot tub for the night of the wedding was the perfect end to the perfect day. We can't thank them enough for giving us the best day of our lives...so far! The team were the best you could ever dream to work with, with a special thanks to Sarah, who was just fantastic throughout the full wedding planning process. She made everything so easy and there was zero stress during this time. The food is also 10/10 and a lot of our guests are still talking about how good it was! Everything was perfect over the course of our wedding weekend. The venue is exclusive-use which creates an intimate experience with guests. There is plenty of on-site accommodation and areas for both the bride and groom to get ready. The food was fab from our pre-wedding pizza and salad the night before to the canapés, wedding breakfast and evening snacks. We opted to do signature cocktails and our ideas were accommodated for. All the staff were great and kept us in the right place at the right time during the whirlwind of a wedding day. It offers the perfect space for every bride and groom. The cottages at the courtyard are absolutely perfect for bridal party/family. All of the staff we encountered were beyond helpful and so friendly and kind to us and all of our guests (Sue, Bev, Laura, the night porter, and everyone on shift over our few days celebration) thank you for everything, you truly made our day unforgettable! We opted for a pre wedding bbq the day before followed by a post wedding breakfast, which we are so glad we did. The food was amazing across the 3 days and we have had so many compliments from our wedding day guests praising the food and also the efficiency of the hospitality team at Broxmouth. All were lovely, however Broxmouth left us with special feeling due to its relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. The accommodation, ceremony room, dinning room and grounds are all breathtaking. Everywhere was spotless, well maintained and has a very fine attention to details. Staff were great keeping in contact from the moment we made our booking to our wedding day. They were always very responsive to all our queries in the run up to the wedding. Our wedding day was everything we dreamed of and more. The meals prepared on site were absolutely delicious! We were particularly blown away by the attentiveness of the staff who are all wonderful and made an effort to speak to us, our friends and family - Some even got on the dance floor to join in the evening entertainment for a bit which was brilliant to see. Broxmouth Estate was designed for 3rd Duke of Roxburghe in 1775 and to this day retain a lot of original features which you an your guests can enjoy. Our venue prides itself on complete exclusivity, one of the most iconic locations in Scotland, hosted by a warm and welcoming team.
