Balbirnie House is a 1777 Georgian mansion, Category A Listed of national and international architectural and design importance. The house was the inspiration for Edinburgh’s New Town. This historic house was caringly restored and converted into a hotel in the late 1980’s, and since then the property has evolved into a totally unique and special destination, and especially so for weddings. Balbirnie is one of Scotland’s landmark hotels, with a uniquely established history under 4 decades of personal supervision and private ownership, playing host and providing a backdrop for many thousands of Scotland’s most special private and corporate events.
