The multi- award winning venue is located in the heart of cute Kalbar. Located just under an hour away from Brisbane CBD it offers a classic wedding ceremony venue and stylishly elegant Black Hall for your dream reception.
White Chapel
The Chapel features a back-lit, gothic altar, iron chandeliers and timber floors. Chapel hire includes:
- up to 90 chairs*
- Silk floral arrangements
- Signing table with chairs
- Air-conditioning and Bluetooth PA system
- Partner’s reception room
- Photography rights inside the Chapel
Reception Venues
Black Hall is located just behind the White Chapel. Timber floors, panelled walls, and a stone fireplace with antique chandelier and long timber tables and oak chairs contribute to the room’s elegant, country vibe.
For your inside reception - Black Hall rental includes a PA audio system, air conditioning and the use of an outside pergola and bar, which is a perfect location for pre-reception drinks. Venue also includes Long feasting tables and oak chairs for 74 seated guests, dinnerware, cutlery, glassware, and white /black napkins, cake table, gift table, cake stand and cake knife and standard styling.
The outside reception alternative is The 'Barn' , a beautiful, rustic outdoor area with authentic historic items from the Chapel. Hiring the Barn gives you access to a pressed metal bar, bathrooms, and more. You can enjoy an beautiful seated outdoor reception for up to 80 people or 90 cocktail. Lawn games, festoon lighting and firepits can be provided for pre-reception or post reception.
Food and Beverage
The wedding menus at White Chapel and Black Hall are diverse. For example, packages for sit-down meals include:
- 2 or 3 course meal with canapés,
- Basic styling and coordinator
- cake cutting and plating
- Coffee and tea service
- 4.5 beverage package
The alternatives to standard plated wedding menu include:
- Country harvest dinner service with delicious food platters
- Cocktail packages with delicious substantial, hot and cold canapés
There is plenty of room for menu customization with:
- Dessert options
- Craft beer
- Children menu
- Spirits upgrade
- Mocktail dispenser
The 3-hour elopement package applies to weddings between 20 and 39 guests.

My goodness, this couldn’t get any prettier or any more romantic if it tried. It has been beautifully renovated and converted into such a wonderful versatile space for dining and dancing. Tastefully decorated with what I would describe as a Scandi barn style On first impressions, when we saw the venue in person, I couldn’t believe how amazing it was. The photos online are stunning but do not do it justice. Once we returned back to the venue we sat in the gorgeous Black Hall. My goodness, this couldn’t get any prettier or any more romantic if it tried. It has been beautifully renovated and converted into such a wonderful versatile space for dining and dancing. But white chapel and the phenomenal team were an absolute dream. They made our day absolutely perfect, I’d change nothing about it. I felt so cared for as the bride and my husband felt so supported. We have held many dream weddings. We have had couples that have had their 'little fur baby' walk up the aisle with them. We have had samoan fire dancers for an 'islander ' wedding. We have had chinese dragon dancers lead the couple down to their guests.

What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
One couple wanted a disco wedding and they had 'giant mirror' balls on stage and decorated on the aisle chairs.
