The Shearing Shed is your dream destination wedding venue- minus the passports. Just 90 minutes from Melbourne, your guests can make a weekend of the celebrations or be back home in their beds by midnight.

Built in 1953 and purposefully restored, The Shearing Shed is where country roots meet killer celebrations. Blending rustic character with modern comforts, we’re an all-inclusive venue with everything you need to create an unforgettable wedding.

Went to a wedding yesterday at this venue and it was absolutely superb! The Shearing Shed is a beautiful venue. We were extremely lucky to have found this venue to host our wedding. The staff were SO lovely, and highly organised. They were excellent at communicating, and were so helpful at providing input and advice where we needed it (we were total wedding planning rookies!). The food was gorgeous (we received so many compliments from our guests), the grounds are immaculately maintained, and the staff were so flexible when we needed to change our ceremony plans...The Shearing Shed is a beautiful venue. We were extremely lucky to have found this venue to host our wedding. The staff were SO lovely, and highly organised. They were excellent at communicating, and were so helpful at providing input and advice where we needed it (we were total wedding planning rookies!). My husband and I got married on Thursday 2/11/23 absolutely the best team and venue ever!! They were amazing the whole lead up to the day and incredible on the day! I have been constantly blown away by the incredible customer service received by Kaylah, Abbie and Teagan throughout the 12 month planning process.They were responsive, caring, and kind at all times. They put up with all my bridezilla moments and remained upbeat and proactive with every enquiry I threw at them.Kaylah had our backs 100% on our wedding day. I honestly don’t know what we would have done without her.She somehow managed to keep everything...Book. This. Venue. You will NOT regret it! Just had our wedding and could not be happier with choosing the shearing shed, before confirming our booking we had a sit down meeting and viewing of the venue with Abbie, for a wedding of around 100 guests. After booking we kept in contact with any questions we had via email, and had one last walkthrough and in person meeting around 8 months before. We had most of the details already sorted and made the month before and planning the rest of the wedding so easy.
