From the moment we arrived, the scenery completely took our breath away — truly unlike any other wedding venue in Australia. The Bush Cathedral, Sunset Deck, and reception function area were all absolutely stunning and created the most magical atmosphere for our special day. What made the experience even more incredible was being able to stay for two nights and three days, allowing us to truly soak in every moment. The onsite accommodation was wonderful and thoughtfully designed for weddings, with everything you could possibly need — irons, steamers, and beautiful spaces that made getting ready effortless and enjoyable. The organisation and care from the venue managers, Jack & Sorcha, were beyond exceptional. From ensuring guests were perfectly seated for the ceremony, to lighting sparklers later in the evening, nothing was overlooked. Sorcha even held my bouquet before I walked down the aisle, and checking into accommodation was seamless and stress-free. If coming from the North- After crossing the historic one lane Hampden Bridge take the 2nd turn on the right (800m) onto Mount Scanzi Road. If coming the South- After you have driven through the cute little town of Kangaroo Valley, turn left onto Mount Scanzi Road (700m past the post office).
Continue to rive along Mount Scanzi Road (this will change to Tallowa Dam Road after the golf course) for 8.3km, then turn right onto Radiata Road.

Where do wedding ceremonies take place?
Our signature ceremony location is The Rock Cathedral, a breathtaking natural amphitheatre surrounded by native bushland and ancient sandstone formations. It is one of the most memorable ceremony spaces in NSW, offering a dramatic yet peaceful setting for your vows.
How many guests can you accommodate?
KVBR is best suited to weddings of 50 to 150 guests. The Rock Cathedral is ideal for ceremonies in this range, and our Reception Area can seat up to 150 guests for dinner, speeches and dancing. 64 guests can stay onsite in the guest accommodation. Camping and nearby accommodation is also available.
Where is the wedding reception held?
Wedding receptions are held in our Reception Area, a purpose-built celebration space with panoramic escarpment views, double-height windows, polished concrete floors, timber finishes and an open indoor-outdoor fireplace. It is warm, elegant and flexible, giving you the freedom to create a reception that feels completely your own.
Is accommodation available onsite?
Yes. Onsite accommodation is one of the things that makes KVBR so special. We have accommodation for up to 64 guests across 32 air-conditioned ensuite rooms, plus camping options for additional guests and nearby accommodation in Kangaroo Valley for overflow guests.
