Everything is super easy to style which makes it a dream for couples looking to make a venue their own. Lisa worked really hard to make my couple's day come true. Especially when the grass got a bit flooded, she went out and bought hay and fairy lights to help absorb and fence off the extra flooded areas. The guests didn't even notice the fencing! The owner Lisa was so accommodating and helped us with the wet weather conditions, leaving me no reason to be upset over the rain. The Marquee is such a large space that it was able to accommodate for the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. There are so many picturesque areas on the venue for wedding photos. The house, cottage and makeup studio were all gorgeous spaces that we enjoyed using throughout the weekend. Lisa goes above and beyond We had the most lovely wedding at Figbird Cottage. Do you allow children and fur babies?
Children and fur babies are always welcome too, as long as they're in the care of a responsible adult on the day.
What's included in the venue rental fee?
Our packages can either be full DIY, or we can spoil you and do everything for you. We have Elopement package, micro packages, daily hire and 3-day event hire. Please ask for our inclusion list or we are happy to phone and discuss in more detail. We believe in total transparency.

How many guests can the venue accommodate for sleeping and for reception?
The accommodation for Figbird Cottage is for 8 guests. The reception marquee can hold up to 150 guests.
Do you have a backup plan for outdoor ceremonies in case of bad weather?
Our marquee is 300 square meters in size. If weather is an issue our marquee can hold the ceremony and reception.
