The Dunes reopened in August 2019, after an 18 month rebuild, and the results are truly breathtaking. With sister venue At The Heads in Barwon Heads, the team are experienced in delivering exceptional weddings. Nestled in the seaside town of Ocean Grove on the beautiful Bellarine Peninsula, we are a truly spectacular venue overlooking the Surf Beach. With ceremony locations nearby, it means you can have everything in one wedding location. The building itself has a natural, sophisticated style, with floor to ceiling windows that allow an abundance of light. The beautiful facade creates a cinematic experience that is ideal for watching the waves crash in or the silhouettes of the surfers as the sun goes down. We must not forget our expansive deck, which is perfect for post ceremony drinks. WEDDING CEREMONY Perched atop the sand dunes, this stunning grassy space is the perfect ceremony location, only 100m from THE DUNES. Surrounded by native flora and fauna, it offers panoramic views of Ocean Grove's main beach and The Bluff. A truly picturesque setting to say "I do". We understand the importance of having a backup plan for inclement weather, which is why we offer a convenient wet weather option for your wedding ceremony inside the venue.

We had our wedding at The Dunes and we cannot recommend it highly enough. Our guests raved about the food, and the waitstaff were very attentive. Top Tier Wedding VenueTop Tier Wedding Venue
Attended the best wedding ever! The whole place was transformed for the event. Tables are arranged beautifully to accommodate approx 200 people a 5 piece band and a DJ! The service was exceptional! Every single person was looked after. The food was world class ! People were talking about the Beef even in the rest room! The Chefs Steve and Ben , Monique, Molly & Stef deserve a special mention! The other staff on the night also did a great job! God bless all of you!Attended the best wedding ever! The whole place was transformed for the event. Tables are arranged beautifully to accommodate approx 200 people a 5 piece band and a DJ! The service was exceptional! Every single person was looked after. The food was world class ! We had our wedding here and it was absolutely incredible! From the very start of planning to the running of the day, Steph was fantastic. Everything was perfect, the location, planning, food, drinks and service. The entire team are amazing and felt like family. The food was some of the best we have ever had with every guest saying it was the by far the best food they have ever had at a wedding and in general! We are so grateful to have found The Dunes and cannot recommend them enough!We had our wedding here and it was absolutely incredible! We had our Wedding at The Dunes 11.11.23 and it was absolutely the best day of our lives! We could not fault one thing. Steph the Functions and Events Coordinator was so hands on throughout the whole process and just made it such an easy, enjoyable and stress free process for us. The day was amazing, we felt so looked after and that the staff were all over it! We had the best day of our lives with the best memories and can truly not fault one thing!We had our Wedding at The Dunes 11.11.23 and it was absolutely the best day of our lives! When we were looking at venues for our wedding we both just kept going back to The Dunes. We had previously been guests of a wedding at The Dunes that was honestly amazing so it just made sense to have our wedding here. From our initial enquiry to now after the wedding we have received the most fantastic service and kindness. Steph was our event coordinator was/is the best! Nothing was an issue and we loved how organised she was.When we were looking at venues for our wedding we both just kept going back to The Dunes.
