Harrigan’s Hunter Valley is a modern wedding venue with typical Australian flair, rustic fireplaces, great food and charming architecture. Pokolbin's venue has capacities for indoor and outdoor receptions, casual cocktail parties and formal dinners.
Available spaces are:
- The Deck: Beautiful raised outdoor area with a private bar, sound system and dedicated place for a band; supports different floor layouts; capacity: 50 – 120 guests
- The Lakeview Function Room: Cozy, character-filled room with fireplace; capacity: 80 seated, 150 cocktail-style guests
- Additional semi-private spaces: For casual dining and semi-private options, choose the Terrace and the Clover Leaf room
Among 60 acres of Harrigan’s Hunter Valley gardens, there are stunning ceremony settings and lovely photo opportunities. Ceremony packages at Harrigan cover a choice of six garden areas, including a popular indoor Chapel location and Waterfall Outlook area.
Wedding Dining Options at Harrigan’s Hunter Valley
Dining options at this modern venue focus on multiple-course meals, a la carte dining and plank servings.
Limited a la carte options include guests’ choice of preselected mains, starter dish and chef’s dessert choice. For the main, expect Beef and Guinness pot pie, chicken schnitzel and rustic Caesar salad.
Share platters are excellent options for mid-size weddings, and they feature diverse meat options, salads and sides.
If you prefer elevated dining, opt for a deluxe menu with 2-course alternative serve dishes.
Plank menus are excellent options for mid-size weddings as they feature a range of food items, including fried choices, antipasto, skewers, sliders and others, all served to the table on signature planks.
The beverage package covers a 3-hour service offering standard and deluxe drink lists with sparkling wines, red and white wines, beers and soft drinks.

Good old fashioned pub considering its in wine country. Night time weekends tends to bring out some wild young folks. The pool is great and everything around is very centrally located to Harrigans! There were two lovely bar staff that served for the reception. The margarita pizzas and strawberry slammer jugs were incredible. I had booked in advance and Harrigans were happy to arrange tables near each other which worked perfectly on the night. Food was delicious. Many of our guests returned over the weekend even to just have a drink as they loved the location and the great atmosphere.We had dinner here the night before our Wedding with many of our guests joining us (around 65 people).
