On October 3rd we had the most amazing day ever. The ceremony at Gateshead was absolutely lovely and then we followed that with a wonderful time at the Riverside. The venue was perfect and we must say a huge thank you for letting us set up that morning and the previous day. It looked beautiful and our guests were thrilled with the room and the beautiful view. It was just the right size to give us plenty of space and yet at the same time had a very cosy and intimate atmosphere. The fact that you could access the outside was an added bonus and made the children's day. In fact I have attached a few photos for you to look at which capture the absolute joy and essence of the day. The staff were brilliant and I can't praise Phil and Suzanne highly enough. Nothing was too much trouble for them. They made sure that we had everything we needed, that everything went smoothly and that we had the best time ever. They totally added to our enjoyment of a very special day. Please pass on our thanks to them. The buffet was excellent and received loads of compliments. All in all we can't thank the Riverside staff enough for making our Wedding Day so special. It was magical! Phil was also fantastic with everything, even getting me a list of taxi numbers when ours didn’t turn up at the end of the night. Also, all of the bar staff and waiting staff were so friendly and efficient. A lot of people have commented to me how nice everyone was. Would you please pass our thanks on to everyone and let all of their respective managers know that they’re a credit to the club.
