Our wedding at Runa Farm was nothing short of magical—truly the perfect day in the perfect venue. From the moment we first toured the venue, we knew we’d found “the one,” but on the day itself, Runa Farm surpassed every expectation. Emily White, our dedicated wedding planner, guided us at every turn with warmth, professionalism, and impeccable attention to detail. Whether it was smoothing out last-minute schedule tweaks or helping us envision the décor, Emily made us feel completely at ease and absolutely confident that our dream wedding was in the best of hands. On the day, every member of the Runa Farm team shone. Our Master of Ceremonies, Ian, struck exactly the right tone—engaging, light-hearted, full of energy and effortlessly in control—so that every moment flowed seamlessly. Meanwhile, Emma, our wedding organiser, was quietly heroic: she choreographed vendors, orchestrated timing, and handled the inevitable little surprises with ease. Guests raved about the three-course feast, each dish beautifully, bursting with fresh, seasonal flavours - a taste sensation. Then there were the cocktails. Expertly mixed, and bursting with flavour-each sip a perfect complement to our celebrations. From the heartfelt ceremony beneath a canopy of chandeliers to the laughter-filled dinner and the sparklers under a blanket of stars, Runa Farm turned our wedding into an unforgettable experience. To anyone seeking a venue that combines bohemian chic charm, top-tier service, and culinary excellence, look no further than Runa Farm. We couldn’t have asked for anything more—and neither will you!

We had a brilliant experience with Runa Farm, from looking around the venue, to booking, to working with Paige our wedding coordinator, to getting married on the day. The team work amazingly together, Paige answered every single question I had and there was a lot! She made sure I felt happy, comfortable and offered advice on things I could change to make my day even better, I don’t think I’d of kept sane if I didn’t have her to support me. Once she handed me over to the venue, Amy supported me throughout the day making sure everything was organised and made sure everything was the way I wanted. Thank you to the team at Runa Farm, you guys were amazing and so organised! From a type A bride ♥️ lots of love.

What a weekend! We arrived at Runa on Friday and stayed in the Farmhouse - what an amazing place for our pre-wedding party. Our wedding was on the following day, and we were supported throughout by Amy and Ian. Our guests commented that the venue was amazing, and we couldn't agree more. We fell in love with it from the minute we visited, and it made our day very special. Staff were welcoming, professional and always happy to help. Special thanks also to Eva during the run up to our big day, she made everything flow and was really responsive to any emails, etc. All the guests commented on how beautiful the food and drinks were - especially the beef! This was served quickly and professionally, meaning that everyone got a hot meal together, despite there being over 70 guests. The rooms are lovely, especially those with hot tubs. Overall we cannot recommend Runa Farm enough and are looking forward to staying there in the future.

The whole team from our first meeting until the very last, were amazingly accomodating, helpful and overall fantastic at making mine and my wife's day everything we had ever hoped for for ourselves and everybody celebrating with us. Nothing for Runa Farm/Apartment group was too much trouble, with any little or large request we had for them, they seen that every details we requested was seen to, with no hidden agendas or fees, if anything they saved us thousands! The venue left a lasting impression on a lot of our guests, and we are so happy we chose here as our wedding venue. It has so much character and style that fit in with everything we wanted for our day. Thank you Runa Farm & Apartment group for contributing to the best day of our lives.

We got married at Runa Farm back in Feb 2025 and it was just the most special and magical day. So much love, laughter and pure happiness. The staff were all super helpful and so many of our guests commented on how perfect the venue was. ❤️ We loved how open yet intimate the venue is. Everyone can do their own thing but it still feels like everyone is together. The chappel and farmhouse are just totally stunning too! The food and drinks were wonderful. We just feel super grateful to have gotten married at such a beautiful place.

From the day we viewed the venu, the staff at Runa Farm couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating. My husband and I both work in the Middle East so planning a wedding from the other side of the world was a stress 😅 But Runa Farm did everything in its power to make things as easy as possible. Runa farm is the most magical, beautiful venu and we loved every second of our time there. Earthy, boho and simply stunning. On top of being a beauty the food is also delicious - we had a number of dietary requirements and nothing was too much trouble. From the bottom of my heart I would like to thank all the staff at Runa Farm who helped make our day even more magical than I could have hoped. It really was a most perfect day.

We started our story in 2019 after meeting on a dating site, had a pandemic straight after. I was working as a nurse all throughout meaning we didn’t see each other in person for months but it was truly meant to be. He proposed in 2023 in an escape room and got to planning our special day the day after. Runa Farm was the second venue we viewed and we knew instantly that this was the one. we booked it 2 years in advance and got to planning. The staff there helped us every step of the way for 2 years with a smile and I couldn’t be more greatful. Finally the big day came and we were so well taken care of. We planned a Back to the Future/horror movie themed day with props, centre pieces and an actual DeLorean. Nothing was too much for the venue. They didn’t even bat an eye when I (the bride) requested to bring my chainsaw arm for the the big day. They were all so helpful, fun and kind all day. We didn’t have to do anything bar turn up and have fun which is what a wedding should be like for the couple. The whole team made our day perfect ❤️

We got married at Runa Farm in January 2025. I’m so grateful we came across Runa farm and had our wedding here. It was just beautiful, the staff are out of this world, they ensure everything is perfect from start to finish. Our honeymoon suite was gorgeous, it was everything and more. Big shout out to Amy & Ian for just being amazing throughout our stay. Can’t thank you both enough. I can’t wait to come back and visit!

From the moment we arrived the evening before the wedding it was clear that everything was taken care of and we didn’t have to worry about a thing. Runa Farm exceeded our expectations and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a wedding venue in the North East of England.
