Best choice ever!

Got married at the Manor House Hotel so glad that we chose them as our venue! We stayed Friday night to Sunday and our room was amazing, wouldn't change a thing about it. Used the spa facilities every day during our stay, including treatments which were so relaxing. We dined in the restaurant for evening food, as well as breakfast- the food was great! For our wedding itself, Johnathon, Nicola and the team could not have been more helpful and accommodating, we were looked after throughout...

Best time at wedding!

Staff are Diamonds, they were so helpful polite and friendly. The worked so hard to serve the food and table service clearing. The meal was the best I have eaten from outside the home, it was cooked to perfection, everything was more than expected. Toilets are modern and super clean. I'm told the rooms are not to expensive and all the food is top notch. This is a place you must experience for a night or two or a wedding etc. Excellent service all round made the day so nice.

Fantastic venue and attentive staff

Absolutely beautiful location and place to stay. Spa staff were fantastic and attentive. The spa was hands down the nicest we've been too and the treatments were fantastic. Value for money! Very relaxing experience and we will definitely be back.

Josh & Riese’s Special Day at Manor House Hotel

One thing that struck me was how well the venue catered to both the daytime and nighttime events. West Auckland Manor House Hotel is truly a hidden gem, and its recent refurbishment has turned it into one of County Durham’s finest wedding venues. The combination of its history, elegance, and modern touches made it an absolute pleasure to photograph there. Every corner seemed to offer another opportunity for a beautiful shot, from the grand staircase to the gardens outside.

Excellent beautiful place and wonderful staff

*What a beautiful place, we will definitely be returning. Love how tasteful the old building has been renovated keeping all the original features. Our room was stunning and had a lovely relaxing day in the spa before a ritual massage off the girls the next morning*

Wonderful stay at the Manor House

We had a wonderful stay in this charming, historical hotel. Our rooms were in the courtyard annexe and were spotlessly clean and very quiet at night. We enjoyed dinner in the hotel on the first night and also had a massage and facial in the Spa, which was a very relaxing experience. Shelli, the massage therapist, was excellent. The hotel is very quirky with a fascinating history. A particular thank you to all the staff who were without exception so friendly and helpful.

Top marks!

We spent 2 nights at The Manor House in August (16th-18th) with 3 other couples as we were visiting the Auckland Project & in particular the Kynren, which was spectacular. We couldn’t have been happier with our choice of hotel. The rooms were exceptional! Definitely well beyond 3* standard. The food was truly first class and the service outstanding.
