We only host one wedding per day, ensuring that you and your guests are the sole VIPs, and exclusive use of the castle is available for a completely private celebration. Our chefs can design a bespoke menu to suit your tastes, or you can choose from thoughtfully curated menu options. The castle features 32 en suite rooms, including the historic King James bridal suite, once occupied by King James himself during his journey from Scotland to London for his coronation in 1603.

The whole day was perfect and we highly recommend Walworth castle. The staff are amazing, gorgeous food and amazing grounds. The events team was absolutely brilliant helping us plan our wedding and nothing was a trouble. We will definitely be back. The hotel was so clean and our room (19) was absolutely fantastic! The bed was extremely comfortable, there was plenty of space to hang clothes. Our little boy (18 months) was provided with a cot bed and extra blankets too! The staff went above and beyond, they were friendly, helpful and so welcoming. The food was delicious! Would definitely recommend.We stayed at the castle for a friend’s wedding for a weekend. The hotel was so clean and our room (19) was absolutely fantastic! It was our second attempt at a wedding, following the closure of the previous venue due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The wedding and events team could not have been more accommodating. We booked the King James Suite. The room was huge and absolutely beautiful! The staff kindly brought breakfast up to my room Overall it was an amazing day and I am so pleased we chose to get married at Walworth Castle.We were married at Walworth Castle in October 2021. The experience has been absolutely amazing from the moment it was booked. A huge thank you to Jolene and Melissa and to to all of the staff who are exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble the food and service was exceptional. We had a tour around the castle dungeons, which you can hire out for an alternative wedding if you so wish. The castle ballroom caters for both traditional and none traditional weddings, a perfect venue for a wedding or just a romantic weekend away in an old castle. Beautiful surroundings, rooms were spotlessly clean and well equipped, the bridal suite was jaw-dropping, stunning. The staff were 1st class, all the comms before the wedding, the check-in, the bar staff, waiting staff, managers all so friendly and made sure the stay was flawless. They were all on hand to make sure she had a fantastic day. The wedding timings were so well organised. We stayed in this fantastic castle for our daughters wedding.
