This spacious chapel with seating for up to 100 guests, the most sumptuous finishings and beautiful ornate lighting, this hidden gem is the most romantic and splendiferous ceremony setting in the UK. During your celebrations—be it one night or three— guests can rest in one of the 12 boutique bedrooms or annex rooms all seriously stylish. So flawlessly planned and executed we couldn’t have wished for any more. Paige was so responsive when planning our day and made sure we had everything in order. Elle was our wedding manager on the day and honestly just felt like one of the girls! So fun, such a vibe and excellent at keeping me calm (and hydrated!). Richard was a fantastic MC with a keen eye for detail and I would recommend them all in a heartbeat. The venue itself is utter perfection, every detail adds a new layer and all of our guests commented how they felt they had stepped back in time. Marrying my best friend in that chapel is something I will never forget! The food and drink was excellent and I truly don’t think you could choose wrong! I highly recommend the spicy mango margaritas for a cocktail, 10/10 yummy. Overall, we had the most perfect couple of days and have made memories that will last a lifetime. The whole weekend flowed seamlessly, and that is entirely down to the incredible team who go above and beyond to make every couple feel so special and supported. The coordination was flawless from start to finish — calm, organised, reassuring and completely on top of every detail. Nothing was ever too much trouble. Every member of staff, from the front-of-house team to those working behind the scenes and at the bar, were polite, warm, and always ready to help with a smile. The food was absolutely beautiful and presented perfectly — and the evening buffet… WOW! Our guests are still talking about it. The kitchen team truly outdid themselves. I had 10 guests staying and there was plenty of space for us all to get ready the next morning. The breakfast was lovely, and we had the best time relaxing in the hot tub the night before. We also had a chat with our wedding manager to run through the final details. From that point on, I felt completely at ease and totally confident that everything was in safe hands. On the day itself, our wedding manager El was there every step of the way - always checking in to make sure I was okay and asking if I needed anything. She was amazing with the whole bridal party, making sure everyone felt calm and looked after. She even fixed a little dress mishap… honestly, what a star! There was nothing she couldn’t handle. We received so many compliments from our guests about how beautiful the venue was, how professional the staff were, and especially about the food! Everyone commented on how smoothly the day ran - which, in the end, is exactly what you want your guests to remember. It truly was one of the best days of our lives, and a huge part of that was down to the staff at Lartington - especially El. She is amazing: kind, funny, organised, and just such a calming presence. You are bombarded with offers, deals, beautiful locations, vendors and wedding fayres. It was no different for us, we had seen some amazing places, all of which had their own strengths, but none of them had ticked every box. We had resigned ourselves to the reality of having to make a compromise, but then we found Lartington Hall. Emily White, our assigned wedding coordinator was absolutely brilliant. She made the planning and booking process as seamless and as easy as we could have hoped for. Her ability to answer questions quickly and not add any pressure or stress in times where I know we weren’t the best at giving answers or replying was truly tremendous. Every request we had or issue we saw was resolved wi the out fuss or stress and helped our vision come to reality. It was a pleasure dealing with her and she really is a credit to The Apartment Group. The building itself is stunning and is a genuinely gorgeous place to have your wedding. The rooms are large and beautiful, but also intimate and warm. The venue perfectly blends grandeur and style without the usually associated oppressive or cold feelings. The chapel is breathtakingly beautiful and the grounds are well tendered and marvellous. But you knew all of this already, if you’re reading this then you have probably already been and had a look around and may even be deciding if this is the place for you, well what you won’t know is how amazing the staff are. Every second of our wedding day at Lartington Hall was simply incredible! Thanks in large part because it was run absolutely seamlessly by Jamie and Ruth. Ruth was the first person we saw when we arrived and (along with Jamie) the last we saw when we left. This should give you some idea of the dedication and commitment that she showed us throughout our day (and night before, and morning after), running between the venue and the bride’s lodge to make sure that everything was just right. Our personal requests were tended to with absolute precision, style and creativity, perfectly complimenting our vision. We simply wouldn’t have had the day we did without her dedicated professionalism and calm determination to make everything just right. Ruth you are an absolute gem and it was a real pleasure to have you at the helm, you are a real asset to Lartington Hall, we loved you and our two sausage dogs were rather fond of you too! Jamie, our wedding manager, was our best friend for the day. He made sure that our vision was implemented perfectly! Every, single, detail that we had requested was executed exactly how we wanted it. It is so clear that Jamie loves his work and this passion was poured into every minute of our day. Absolutely nothing phased him and at no point did we feel rushed or pressured. - AAmber & Tim29/12/2025The wedding of my dreamsThe wedding of my dreamsWe spent a lot of time and effort finding the right venue and kept seeing the same issues: ridiculously expensive, a lack of amenities, no hotel space for guests, the venues not giving that “wow” factor, the staff not sounding friendly or accommodating. You can really tell a lot from a venue tour! We found Lartington Hall online and the pictures were incredible! We booked a venue tour immediately and hoped it lived up to how it looked. We were greeted by Jamie for our venue tour, he really cared about our vision and was instantly thinking of ways to make our dream wedding come true- one thing that stood out is that he really listened to Tim (the groom) which other venues did not- just making comments like: “it’s all about the bride” which we don’t like at all. Jamie made us feel like Lartington Hall was not only a stunning place to get married- but also a place where we would be really looked after. We ended up choosing a date and requesting Jamie to be our wedding coordinator too! The process of communicating with Jamie and the wider team about payment schedules, food options, full spec and timeline was easy and made us feel like we were really in control of not only the spend but also making the day exactly how we wanted it to be. One thing about the venue itself we really loved was the chapel. It was the perfect setting for any couple interested in a church-like wedding when a church is not available. It’s a breathtaking blend of traditional and dramatic with intricately decorated walls and ceilings. The grounds are incredible and such a perfect place for photos on the day. The venue also has so many rooms for guests to explore and find a quiet corner for a chat as the night unfurls, it was absolutely perfect! On the day, Jamie and the team (special mention to Richard: the master of ceremonies) made us and our guests feel like royalty. Not a minute went past without a member of the team offering us a drink, a snack, some advice… even a chair to be brought outside for the bride to sit on when her feet hurt! We felt so looked after. The food was exceptional too! With many options clearly priced and fantastically presented. Venue is outstanding, everything you want and more for your wedding day, you can’t go wrong. Big thank you to Kenzie our WCO for stepping into the breech last minute and crossing those ts and dotting those is, we couldn’t have done it without you all! Upon arriving to view the venue my heart melted at the grand stone entrance. As you walk in it is memorising. Mirrors to the entrance walls and a beautiful walkway tiled and stylish. Upon explaining our ceremony we were guided to the chapel, oh my! I was blown away. We received an explanation how we could have a blessing in the chapel with our wider family and then move onto the celebration with friends. This brought tears to my eyes immediately. I could not believe this venue was just perfect. We could not have asked for more. On the day/evening of our celebration the staff were fabulous. They dressed the meal so well and our cookie/cakes were displayed for everyone to help themselves. The rooms are amazing. They are extremely roomy and I felt relaxed as I prepared for our celebration. We receive so many complements about the food and the service Lartington Hall gave to our guests. We are so thankful to have found this most amazing place for our celebration. We know friends have suggested the venue to friends. The building is full of character, with so much care and thought clearly put into the décor and design, creating a truly stunning backdrop for the day. The venue offered fantastic value for money, with several beautiful rooms that allowed our guests to spread out, mingle comfortably, and enjoy the space throughout the day. The team were outstanding. The wedding manager (Elle) and master of ceremonies (Richard) ensured everything ran seamlessly on the day, while our wedding coordinator (Sarah) was always friendly, approachable, and happy to answer any questions during the planning process. Suppliers were treated so warmly and looked after well, so this was really pleasant to see too. Our guests were genuinely so happy, leaving us with wonderful feel-good memories. We were also lucky to have sunny weather in late November, and the team were incredibly flexible with last-minute changes, allowing us to take photos outside and even enjoy a second confetti throw. Thoughtful personal touches, such as preparing gluten-free Yorkshire puddings for me so I wasn’t left out for my wedding breakfast meal, really set this venue apart. We couldn’t recommend it highly enough to other couples. The building is full of character, with so much care and thought clearly put into the décor and design, creating a truly stunning backdrop for the day. The venue offered fantastic value for money, with several beautiful rooms that allowed our guests to spread out, mingle comfortably, and enjoy the space throughout the day. The team were outstanding. Our wedding co-ordinator was very accommodating and responsive to all our queries no matter how big or small! Describe the best wedding that happened at your venue?
That's a really a difficult one as they are all so different and memorable! I loved a black tie wedding with white on white details e.g. elegant white hydrangeas, Grace Kelly style gown, twinkly fairy lights, Lanvin dinner suits and white bow ties - gorgeous!
What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Just enjoy it - don't worry about a specific theme or recreating something painstakingly from Pinterest but rather focus on styles or a style you like - the rest will fall into place complete with all the little details and touches coming together harmoniously
What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
One couple gave every guest a brand new shiny penny which they threw into our gorgeous fountain whilst making a wish!

Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?
That's really difficult as there are so many but I personally love the views looking out over the Park as it's some of the finest in England and that creates a simply magical backdrop. Inside, the Grand Corridor with its french grey colour scheme, gilding, marble floor & domed ceilings creates a classic, timeless look that gives simply beautiful images
Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at your venue?
Many! People travel from all over the world to marry or have a house party at Lartington Hall
What’s your favourite canapé?
Mini lobster croque monsieur - delish!
What’s your favourite midnight treat?
Espresso martini or bacon sandwiches and bloody mary
What is your venue's most unique feature?
It's heart stoppingly beautiful - oh yes we have a chapel and ballroom too, plus a Chef with Michelin Star background!
