The Orchard is a charming 14th-century farmhouse wedding venue located in the heart of Maidstone, Bearsted, Kent. Nestled in the peaceful Kent countryside, yet easily accessible from Maidstone town, it offers a picturesque and convenient setting for your special day. To cater to every couple’s unique needs and budget, we offer four carefully designed packages. Whether you're envisioning an intimate celebration or a grand affair, we have something to suit your dream wedding. Our beautiful Oak Lodge provides the perfect space for bridal preparation on the morning of your wedding. It’s a peaceful and private retreat where you can get ready for the big day ahead. At The Orchard, we believe every wedding should be as unique as the couple. - AAmy & George02/12/2025The most beautiful magical venue!The most beautiful magical venue!We got married here 3 days ago and all I can say is wow 🤩 From start to finish every single second has been a dream, Katie was our wedding coordinator and she has been amazing, nothing was too much of a task. She made it so easy and went above to make everything a special as possible. The whole team at the orchard were unreal! Every single thing was perfect the food was amazing the venue was beautiful and the whole day was a literal dream, I wish I could do it all over again. We’d looked around multiple venues before The Orchard and knew it was the one for us as soon we saw it. Amy, our coordinator, and Callum, who we met on the wedding weekend were amazing. Everything felt under control and they couldn’t do enough for us. The food was unbelievable, from the canapés to wedding breakfast. Our guests were complimenting all aspects too - we couldn’t recommend enough!!I don’t know where to start, our experience with The Orchard was brilliant from start to finish. All of the Team at the Orchard are so helpful and lovely that planning was a breeze (even for someone like me who has never organised an event before). Everything on the day went without a hitch and the venue was beautiful. Both us and the guests had a fantastic day and we were able to get married outside (even though it was November!) A beautiful venue, the most wonderful staff!We got married at the Orchard in Nov 24 and we couldn't have asked for a better day. All of the Team at the Orchard are so helpful and lovely that planning was a breeze (even for someone like me who has never organised an event before). Everything on the day went without a hitch and the venue was beautiful. Both us and the guests had a fantastic day and we were able to get married outside (even though it was November!) Our wedding coordinator, Katie was amazing as were the whole team who were friendly, helpful and so accommodating. You can tell all the staff really love working here and get along with their colleagues, which makes for a really nice atmosphere. No matter where you marry, always meet your guests expectations by noting an 'arrival' time, as well as your ceremony time. E.g 1:30pm arrival for a 2pm ceremony.
