The Lapa
Wander through the woodland walk and you’ll find yourself at the beautiful lapa on the lake. With its oak frame and thatched roof, rustic seating and tranquil views, it’s a truly romantic setting to say “I do”.

The elegant gazebo is nestled within the landscaped grounds and provides an unforgettable setting to exchange vows. Before walking down the aisle, you will pass the tranquil lake and breathtaking waterfall with your bridal party.

An all-year-round stunning location for your ceremony, whatever the weather or time of year. Flooded with natural light and spectacular views of the beautifully landscaped gardens.

With ample space for 150 dinner guests and 250 evening guests, the orangery is flooded with natural light and overlooks the award-winning landscaped gardens that surround the venue. Leading up to the wedding day, the team were beyond helpful and answered all the many questions I had. On the day, Beth, was the most incredible wedding coordinator you could ask for. She made the day run so smoothly and helped out so much. All the staff were also so lovely and helpful. The venue and catered for everything you could ask for. From answering our endless questions and emails to being there for us on the day. Nothing is ever too much trouble. She was there to calm my nerves in the morning, always checking we had a drink throughout the day, and just being the most amazing presence. We are so grateful. The whole process from booking the venue to the actual day itself is so well planned and thought through. Sonas made everything so easy to plan, like a digital wedding planner. We are so so glad we booked The Orangery as our wedding venue. The amount of guests that said they’ve never been to a venue so beautiful. It was everything we wanted and more! Our day was perfect and we will never forget it! Thank you to the all the team members at The Orangery but most importantly the wonderful Kelley! They had live music at every turn and it created an energetic and fun atmosphere all day. Accompanied by singing and dancing all day that really showed their personality as a couple, even down to a singing flash mob who were brilliant!

My number one planning tip would be that you can never start too early! Whether that's planning your guest list or meeting with suppliers to arrange decor. The sooner you tackle these things, you'll be in a better place when it comes to putting everything together nearer the end.

My favourite personal touch was when the couple named their tables after places they visited, this particular couple went travelling for almost a year shortly after booking with us and told their story and shared their journey through their table names.

If I'm completely honest I'm usually in bed sound asleep by 11pm and hardly ever wake up to want a midnight snack - mum life knocks me out! If I did have to choose, I'd say a cheese toastie for sure. Quick & easy to make & always tastes amazing.

I'm proudest of how far we have come as a business and as a team since COVID. We started off really unsure what the future would bring but we have pushed hard, kept our amazing standards and spirits high and expanded and developed our team over the years since then. We've been able to gain access to so many more resources and have teams dedicated to specific areas of all things wedding, food and drink, marketing, accounts, sales and it all just works like clockwork with each other. We are all there for each other with the same end goal, to give our couples an unforgettable day and we really hone in on that over everything else.
