The Grand

We had our wedding at The Grand in August 2024, I can truly say it was the most amazing day! We had the whole wedding (ceremony, wedding breakfast and reception) there, and it was faultless. The organisation, effort and attention to detail was incredible. The food was delicious, the staff were friendly and helpful. We partied until 2am in Ruby’s, the whole venue is just fantastic. Thank you to the whole team, it was the most special day! If you are thinking of getting married at The Grand, or holding any event there -do it! I can’t recommend it enough ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I recently had my wedding reception at The Grand and I couldn't have wished for a better venue. The venue itself is impressive and is a perfect place to hold a wedding reception. The staff were amazing, extremely attentive and welcoming. The service they each provided was exceptional. We had a 3 course meal for 65 guests, the food was absolutely delicious - hats off to the chef! Jonny was extremely helpful and attentive throughout the whole process, always replying promptly and going the extra mile. I would definitely recommend The Grand as a wedding reception or for any other event for that matter.

We opted for an afternoon tea as our wedding celebration. The Grand did not disappointed. Our guest were well looked after, sandwiches and scones were delicious and staff absolutely lovely.

As parents of the bride, it was extremely important our daughters day was perfect for her and her new husband! We were proud as punch seeing family and friends celebrating the day and evening away, in what was just the perfect setting. The Grand staff were excellent, catering to everyones needs and ensuring the day ran smoothly.

We held our Wedding Reception at The Grand, and were made to feel welcome right from the start. Emma introduced us to the team and gave us lots of ideas on how we could create lots of different experiences for our guests. The best part of the day was when we surprised our guests with singing waiters, this was just amazing, they had everyone up on the chairs!! The team were fantastic and my husband and I didn't have to worry about anything at all!! Thank you for making our day perfect!

We came here for a wedding and what can I say .. the ambience was perfect the food was amazing … I need to know what exact goats cheese I had for my starter as I need it in my life again!!! Perfect portion sizes and a dessert to die for!!!

We are so grateful to Karen and the team at The Grand for making our day just the best! We met Karen to discuss our day and straight away she was so welcoming and helpful. We wanted to include some of our own personal touches on the day which wasn't a problem, the staff set everything up, exactly how we wanted. We partied the night away in the gorgeous cocktail bar downstairs, which was an amazing surprise for our guests. Thank you so much for making the memories so beautiful.

Our day was perfect! Everything went to plan and the team at The Grand were so helpful, and couldn't have done more for us! The food was incredible and we danced all night long!
