Adjacent to The Barn, The Boot Room offers a warm and cosy retreat, perfect for welcoming guests, hosting a drinks reception, or providing a quiet space for relaxation amidst plush lounge seating. Its doors opening onto the courtyard make it an ideal setting for intimate ceremonies or smaller gatherings.

The barn is an amazing space and perfect for our autumn wedding, and all the incredible staff there really helped to make our day special. In particular, we would like to thank Helen who was so helpful at the start of our booking process and answered our many questions, Cassie from the events team who was amazing throughout the planning and wedding meetings, and Paul (general manager) who helped us with our food and wine tasting and also was amazing at co-ordinating our day. The events team really do go above and beyond to help, and have such great organisation and attention to detail. We can't thank them enough! Our food and drink was excellent, and the whole day ran so smoothly. We also love that we can come back and visit the tea room, and reminisce on our special day. The day before our wedding, a member of the team assisted us with setting up and helping to decorate with ideas to help it all look wonderful, such a massive help. On our Wedding Day, everything went smoothly and seamlessly. The food was amazing and all of our guests commented on how lovely the Wedding Breakfast was. The staff were always on help to hand with anything, no matter how small. I would totally recommend Kimbridge Barn to anyone considering this venue. We had an amazing day from start to finish. Describe the best wedding that happened at your venue?
Emma and Jake, with many years of planning, many hours of discussing their wedding with our events team, many doggy biscuits eaten by Bramble their dog, we really took time to ensure all the details were covered – there was surprises for the bride (from the groom) surprises for the groom (from the bride) and surprises for the guests too – it took hours of planning but all the surprises kept the guests and couple on their toes throughout the day and made it extra special party to celebrate the wedding!
What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Take time for yourselves through the day as it will pass by extremely quickly and you will want to soak it all in.
What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
The groom sourced the brides favourite flower and had the florist add one to every persons place setting as a surprise.

Rustic, relaxed, bohemian, unique, romantic.
Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?
The River Test adjacent to us provides some stunning golden hour / sunset photographs.
Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at your venue?
Not yet but never say never!
What’s your favourite canapé?
Either our BBQ pork belly with Szechuan pepper, ginger and coriander or charcoal cheddar arancini with truffle mayo. Delicious!
What’s your favourite midnight treat?
It would have to be our freshly made pizza from our wood-fired ovens. One of our personal favourites is the Rosary goats cheese
with roasted fig and honey.
What is your venue's most unique feature?
Our beautifully restored 19th century Barn is the standout feature of our venue, with sky high ceiling and wooden beams - it's stunning! The most surprising would be our private courtyard, leading off the Barn, with it’s charming outside bar, comfortable low-level furniture and fire-pits. Perfect for arrival drinks and canapes.
What part of your business are you most proud of?
The entire events team who dedicate hours of time into each wedding, taking time to getting to know our couples and really understanding the important elements – many couples become apart of our ‘Kimbridge family’. They pop in over weekends and are always welcomed back.
