Cain Manor is an exclusive-use wedding venue amid the scenic Surrey Hills, on the Surrey-Hampshire border. Admiredfor its oak-beamed rooms, landscapes gardens, and attentive service, Cain Manor provides a warm and welcoming setting for truly memorable weddings.
The Setting
When you celebrate at Cain Manor, you enjoy exclusive use of the house and grounds all day and night. With a choice of licensed ceremony spaces, you’re free to choose the backdrop that best reflects your vision. Say your vows in the oak-framed Music Room overlooking the gardens, or opt for an open-air ceremony beneath the pergola on the Meadow Lawn.
Capacity & Accommodation
Cain Manor can host weddings for up to 123 for your ceremony and wedding breakfast, with space up to 200 in the evening. When the party winds down you can relax in the Cain Suite while loved ones retire to 10 guest bedrooms. The next day, come together for a light breakfast — an ideal moment to share precious memories.
Harper Kitchens
Exceptional food is at the heart of celebrations at Cain Manor. Harper Kitchens is led by Executive Chef Lionel Jouanet, who previously worked at The Dorchester, creating menus with a focus on flavour and seasonality. We work with trusted suppliers who share our focus on quality and provenance – local family butchers, artisan smokehouses, seasonal produce – to create generous, flavourful dishes that people remember long after the day.
Your wedding includes the Harper Tasting Experience: a chef's selection of starters, mains and desserts, alongside a range of drinks, so you can make the perfect choices for your day.

We believe your wedding should feel wonderfully personal – so we give you the tools and support to make it truly yours. You'll have your own online wedding planner, where you can manage details, track decisions, and keep everything in one place. You'll also have dedicated support from our in-house planning team, with meetings included throughout your journey from booking to the big day.

Describe the best wedding that happened at your venue?
There have been many fantastic themed and seasonal weddings at Cain Manor that make the most incredible photographs. One couple got married on Halloween and totally transformed the venue!
What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Choose the wedding venue you truly fall in love with - and we're not just talking about the bricks and mortar. We're talking about the grounds, the staff, the banquet room, the menus....the works. When you look back at your wedding photography and videos in years to come, you'll realise that you made a great decision.
What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
Fairy lights add sparkle and a romantic vibe to our Music Room. Recently, a couple went all-out and dressed the cathedral length window from top to bottom with a curtain of fairy lights. One word - MAGICAL!

Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?
Cain Manor boasts spectacular garden views over what is known as Surrey's Golden Valley. Therefore any wedding photography taken in the garden will have the most incredible back drop.
Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at your venue?
We're lucky enough to welcome celebrity guests to Cain Manor on a frequent basis.
What’s your favourite canapé?
Our brigade of chefs are always perfecting our menus and producing creative, palate pleasing dishes. We love to indulge, so one of our favourite canapés is our Wagyu sliders with tomato relish & smoked cheddar - delicious!
What’s your favourite midnight treat?
If we're not nibbling on fresh popcorn from our retro popcorn machines, you'll find us over at the chocolate fountain dipping sweet treats in to the melted chocolate.
What is your venue's most unique feature?
The Music Room at Cain Manor is our wow-factor. When we show couples around Cain Manor we always hear a 'oh my goodness' or an exhilarating sigh, having walked in to the Music Room and realising that the dream could actually turn in to a reality, here in this room. It's wonderful!
What part of your business are you most proud of?
The team help make it all happen for our couples. Regardless of what happens behind the scenes, we always ensure that couples feel like their wedding is the only wedding ever to have taken place at Cain Manor. It's pretty special.
