Every single person we came into contact with at Cain Manor from our initial viewing to the wedding planning Wednesdays, to the additional visits with suppliers and family, to the the final wedding day itself was welcoming, friendly, and helpful. Freya, Maddie, and Antonio coordinated on the day, keeping us in the loop with things we needed to know and seamlessly organised everything to make the day perfect and everything we could have wished for. The wait staff were very attentive and efficient too. The grounds are immaculate and made for some gorgeous photos! Almost all of our guests commented on both the taste and excellent portion sizes for the wedding breakfast and the evening buffet, which far exceeded our expectations. Make sure you pick the mini shepherds pie with your canapés - it was a hit! The overnight accommodation is luxurious and makes you wish you were staying for a week! The online planner is simply laid out and easy to use, it allowed us to feel in control of our day and have a constant line of communication with the venue staff. They were so quick to respond to any questions we had through the messaging system. Weddings aren’t cheap, but we promise you won’t regret stretching your budget to get married at Cain Manor.

Cain Manor Where to begin…. Cain Manor is a fabulous, beautiful, characterful venue with a fantastic amazing team of staff. Our Wedding Day was perfect, their team even organized the weather with a lovely sunny spring day so we could have our ceremony outside! From the moment we first viewed the venue, with Danielle showing us around, we fell in love with it! And then going forward they continued to make us feel so welcome on each visit. The Harper Wedding Planner is a life-saver and along with the Wedding Planning Wednesdays, with Emy, Ashely & Maddie, and the online messaging system made the planning process was so smooth and stress-free! On the day itself, every single staff member was fantastic. We felt the whole day ran so effortlessly and that is credit to the Team. From when I arrived in the morning to the Prep Room to get ready in, to them getting Luke into the Stable Block, so they could move me to the Bridal Suite to finish getting ready, would not have gone so well without their coordination and help! The Food was so tasty from the tasting platter menu tasting to the plates dishes on the day. Every guest we have spoken with only had good things to say! The venue itself is so beautiful, so many guests loving the character of the house and the grounds! Bonnie, our doggy, loved the place as well! And it is a great dog-friendly venue! Special mention to Danielle, Freya, Eloise, Jane and actually everyone at Cain Manor and the wider Harper Staff Team for helping is have an UNFORGETABLE wedding day! We had a wonderful day and I cannot praise the staff enough, first class , efficient and friendly. The venue was perfect absolutely spotless with excellent service . Thank you for making my daughter’s wedding worth waiting for and I can recommend Bijou at Cain Manor 100%.

Me and Rory had the most amazing few days at Cain manor last week! It was incredible! Please pass my thanks to all the staff from the day of who went above and beyond to ensure we had the most brilliant day! They were amazing! and from the day we booked every single staff member has been absolutely fantastic in helping us have the wedding (s) we always dreamed of! With every single problem you were there with an answer and with a helping hand. We have both been so touched by the help we have had and how well we have been treated. Thank you all once again!

We just wanted to drop you a quick note to say thank you so much for everything that you did for us last Saturday. We had a fantastic day and everything went perfectly. The attention to detail that you had throughout the day was amazing from making sure we had a drink and some canapés to taking us around the room before everyone else was amazing.Thank you for everything you did.

I have been racking my brain about what to say that can really show you how pleased, grateful, thankful we are for everything but I am not sure I can find the words to show you just how happy we truly are! Firstly, I just want to say the biggest thank you to Maddie and Casey who have just been there every step and without them (Maddie especially) it wouldn’t have been the day that it was. Secondly I just want to thank Sam and Antonio. What utter stars! They were just the loveliest people and could see they had everything under control. They were so polite, calming and generally fantastic to have around. So please just extend my biggest thank you to them! I also want to thank all the other staff for being so brilliant. There was one waiter in particular who I didn’t get the name of, but he took the best care of my friend who is pregnant. Her and her husband were so touched by the care he was giving her and making sure she was comfortable all day. These little touches really made us feel so cared for which is something I will always be grateful for, so again thank you to that star! The day was seamless. The number of comments we have had about how brilliant the venue was, how nice the food was and how impressed people were with the service etc has been overwhelming. It truly was the best day and I cannot thank you enough for making it happen. I will be forever grateful to you all!

We attended Cain Manor today to meet our celebrant and have a general look around to get excited again. We were given a warm welcome and a gorgeous hamper. It’s a tricky time for everyone and as the staff said, they can’t wait to get back to doing what we love, hosting weddings! I’m extremely happy, I feel supported by the staff and keeping my fingers crossed for a more positive 2021!

Myself and my wife got married at Cain Manor in September. We were scheduled to get married there in July but had to postpone due to the pandemic. I have to say that our experience did NOT match with the other "reviews" that have been left. Considering the situation Bijou faced they have been amazing from start to finish with us. They were transparent, honest, reassuring, and consistently kept us aware of the latest possibilities (as the govt. chopped and changed what was and was not possible). So, in regards to how they handled the pandemic situation, we found them to have done an amazing job there in a confusing situation. In terms of the wedding itself - it went BETTER than we could ever have hoped. The pandemic meant we couldn't have the 80+ people we had originally planned but we had just under 30 (including two singers and a photographer) and, in hindsight, a smaller, more intimate wedding suited us down to the ground. Everyone stayed on site at Cain manor and got to know each other. We've had constant messages and texts from family members and friends who attended raving about it. My Mum is STILL on cloud 9 and wants to talk about it consistently any time I ring. She was more nervous than we were about how it might go and is so over the moon. She says she can't stop looking at the pictures! First off, Bijou helped us to plan the wedding in under a month! We did have September date planned but the govt weren’t allowing receptions so we thought we'd wait until a December date we had as another back up. Then, in August, Boris allowed ceremonies and it was all systems g at the last minute. Bijou helped us to plan everything and were so supportive throughout the time and also offered great ideas we hadn't thought of. So in the build up with the planning they were fantastic. Food wise, we went on a tasting day in August and were wowed by the food. I thought it would be good. I didn't realise it would be THAT good. Everything we had on the tasting menu was just amazing. We ended up going with the beef but could easily have gone with any of the starters, mains or deserts as they were all so tasty. We also ordered pork belly for the guests the night before. The food would be up there with some of the nicest restaurants I've eaten in. The wedding day itself was perfect. The ceremony was a bit odd, as people had to be in masks, but it's a story to tell the kids! Other than that Bijou did an amazing job of making a slightly strange situation normal. The staff were brilliant and all so helpful. And throughout the day little suggestions were made that made our day even better (such as cutting the wedding cake and having the first dance outside whilst the sun was setting as it was quite warm). We've had family members rave about the venue...the food...the staff...the gardens...lots of "the best wedding I've ever been to!". It was just a truly unforgettable day. So if you're reading this and wondering if Bijou can help you have your perfect wedding - I can tell you from personal experience at least that they can! I'll be recommending them to any family or friends who get married in the future and will feel confident they're in safe hands (and ever so slightly jealous because I wish I could do our day all over again!). Ann, We had a really lovely day and wanted to say a huge thank you to you and your team for making everything in the run up and on the day go so smoothly. Dean was amazing, nothing was too much trouble on the day and he made me feel very relaxed and calm! My family also said he was lovely! We had really lovely comments on the venue and on the food especially! How amazing the food was and that everyone was so happy that the portion sizes were normal compared to other weddings they had been to! Thank you again to you and your team for always answering my endless questions and your help with the planning!
