South Causey Inn

We celebrated our wedding at the Old Barn in August, and the venue was absolutely perfect! We chose the Elite Package, which we highly recommend, as it took away so much of the stress that comes with wedding planning. The wedding team and staff went above and beyond, from our check-in the day before to our check-out. A special shoutout to Andrew, who was exceptional and made sure everything ran smoothly on our big day. Thanks to him and the entire team, our day truly was perfect!

My wife and I got married at South Causey Inn in the Durham Suite on 5th September. The whole wedding was absolutely perfect, down to every last detail and will be a day we never forget. The food was fantastic, the interiors were beautiful. I can't recommend the venue enough for a wedding. Andrew was our wedding coordinator on the day - he kept everything running smoothly, kept everyone at ease and we couldn't be more grateful for him. It truly was the best day of our lives.

Thank you so much to everyone at South Causey Inn for making our wedding day so incredible. Nothing was too much trouble, and the whole team made sure we had everything we’d dreamt of. Special thank you to Andrew who was there for WHATEVER we needed. From getting spilt beer out my dress, to keeping us calm, helping out with children who needed a bit of support, dress fluffing and taking us extra pizza and brownies to the bridal suite for later on. You were the best and were so grateful. We had the most amazing day ever thank you so much 🤍

We had our wedding here at the old barn, and I have to say the day was nothing but perfect! The venue, staff, food was all wonderful. nothing was a bother, staff were so helpful and we never felt more relaxed. All our guested said the same, wedding team is fantastic! Also have to mention Andrew who was our coordinator for the day, thank you again for keeping us right and making us feel welcome!

Our wedding at the South Causey Inn was truly amazing. Every single detail was perfect and every member of staff we came across were so lovely and so friendly and welcoming it really made the whole experience fantastic. A huge thank you to Andrew, Jack, Morgan, Stacey and everyone else from the wedding and bar team who we had the absolute pleasure of spending time with. They all are fantastic at their jobs and made our day so much more special. I would recommend this venue in a heartbeat and wish I could it all over again. Thank you x

We booked the evening wedding package at the South Causey Inn with Steph as we wanted something low key! It was perfect! The day was everything we could have wished for! The south causey team from checking in to checking out were fantastic! Steph was brilliant on booking and very responsive to emails and meetings, answering questions or anxieties. Lauren looked after us on the day - she was amazing! She rang us a few days before to introduce herself and give us her number incase we had any questions prior to the day as she was on her days off. On the day we couldn’t have asked for anything better, she was so helpful and immediately reduced any anxieties. We checked in with regularly to make sure we were happy with everything. The whole team were fantastic and we wish we could do it all again!

Where to begin… We had the most perfect day from start to finish in the most amazing venue - the durham suite. Surrounded by the best family and friends our day went better then we could of ever hoped or imagined. Our co-ordinator was Andrew and we had another amazing staff member called Lee also with us on our day. They both helped make our day so perfect and nothing was ever too much. Andrew ensured the day went exactly how it was planned and guided us throughout. This took alot of stress and pressure off on the day knowing someone else was sorting everything for us meant we could enjoy everything else that little bit more. Cant thank Andrew and Lee enough for everything. The Durham Suite is truly outstanding and everything was simply amazing. Honestly just wish we could go and do it all over again and i wouldnt change a single thing. The whole day, venue, co-ordinators… everything was amazing.

Exceptional service from all members of staff. Nothing was too much trouble. Every member of the causey team made us feel like royalty. But a massive thankyou to Andrew!! What a great person. He ensured our dreams became reality. He was funny made both myself and my bride feel calm. He had everything in hand. He is a true asset to the team!

We can’t begin to explain how amazing our wedding day was in the Farmhouse at the South Causey on 9th August. From start to finish it ran smoothly and Lauren (our wedding co-ordinator) was fantastic! It was the day we dreamed of and we can’t recommend the South Causey enough.

we were married on the 31st of July in the old barn. The venue was amazing and all the staff made the day go so smoothly. Andrew was our wedding coordinator for the day and what a guy! he was funny, always there for any of our needs (including removing my brides heals 😂) and even fussed over the dogs. to anyone looking for a venue with fantastic people this is the place to go for. massive thanks again from Mr & Mrs Murdoch
