To this day, the manor house remains a place of breath-taking beauty and historic grandeur, but also warmth and personality. Whether it’s your reception, your ceremony or both our dedicated wedding team will make sure your day is as individual, exciting, and memorable as you have always dreamed.
The Manor House is surrounded by 32 acres of landscaped gardens for your picture perfect moment.
Hosting only one wedding a day you can get married in your preferred choice of our stunning ceremony rooms as we are fully licensed for civil ceremonies and civil partnerships to take place in our Manor House & Arden Suite.
Why not extend the celebrations with your family & friends by having everyone stay overnight with you as we have 111 bedrooms onsite which can accommodate your whole wedding party!

Jacinta was very professional and efficient organising everything with us as I know was difficult not being very organised really at all. She was either a phone call or email away and always answering any queries to us. Freddie was an absolute legend, she was there whenever you needed something, always wanting to help and she could always tell if something had annoyed me (nothing to do with the venue) she was always there to calm me down and make me relax and chill out. Freddie & Jacinta is an absolute credit to New Place! The other staff that helped Nick, Joe, Callum & Finn (I think) and I can’t remember the two team members that helped us the day before too we’re all brilliant! The food was absolutely amazing, the chefs did a fantastic job! Cannot forget the housekeeping & reception team, they were all friendly efficient & very accommodating to anything we needed. She is such a perfectionist and it showed as everything on the day went as planned. The staff on the day were incredible and I don't think I've had such amazing service. Nothing was too much and everyone absolutely loved the food. The box and card that was left for us was the kindest little touch and the words were so lovely. It has been a pleasure working with Jacinta and super good luck for her big day. The whole venue is just beautiful and is so well maintained, the photos of the wedding look fantastic. The whole wedding team are so dedicated and truly care about your big day. The communication with them was faultless and they were there to help with anything you needed whichever day of the week. Overall I am so happy we had our wedding at New Place, it really was the perfect day at the perfect setting.I cannot recommend New Place any higher!! From start to finish they were fantastic. Myself and my husband got married on Sunday 7th August 2022 at New Place Hotel, we had the most amazing day! I will start from the very beginning when we booked our venue, our wedding planner Jacinta was the most amazing wedding planner, so helpful, knowledgeable and very responsive. Jacinta was always so reassuring and just made sure I was happy with everything at all times all the way through the planning process! The best person I could have ever wished for to help me with my wedding! So here’s how the actual wedding went: the night before, myself and bridesmaids had a lovely relaxing swim in the pool and went in the sauna, the facilities were very clean and modern! We then watched a movie in our room which was spotless with a flat screen TV and a lovely shower! The staff at reception were so helpful and accommodating they showed us where we needed to go in the morning and who would be on shift to assist, etc. The morning of the wedding myself and bridesmaids were the first to use the new bridal suite and wow wow wow we were blown away and so lucky, it’s amazing the staff brought us up our breakfast got us whatever we needed at no hesitation, they were all sooo lovely! I then met our wedding host for the day Gee and she was super nice nothing was a problem she was making sure we were happy all day. We had lots going on and lots of personal touches throughout the day that I was conscious was going to get missed but on the day I noticed they were all done and to exactly how I wanted it. It was flawless and ran to perfection! We were also the first couple to have use of the new bridal suite and wow it completed the whole wedding there is not one thing we can fault it was incredible! Every wedding is the best wedding - we can't just choose one! We are so lucky to be involved in people's magical moments and each wedding is special.
What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Take your time in all your planning. Don't rush otherwise it will consume you. Make sure you give time to yourself to get through all your wed-min - perhaps set up an email account dedicated to all things weddings so it's easier to keep everything in one place.
What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
An instant photo guest book. It's becoming more and more popular and it's so nice to see some quick snaps from the wedding day along with a personalised message that the couple can keep forever and look back on. Plus they get to see parts of a wedding that they may have missed so it's always a bonus looking through those pictures the next morning.

Magical, Captivating, Elegant, Statuesque & Beautiful
Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?
It's so hard to pick but we recommend in front of our Grade 1 Listed Manor House with the iron gates or on the steps at the terrace surrounded by all your family and friends.
Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at your venue?
Yes we've had a few visits but they like to keep incognito and we respect that!
What’s your favourite canapé?
It's a hard choice but unanimously it's our sausage on a stick in a honey, mustard and sesame glaze. Yum.
What’s your favourite midnight treat?
It has to be chip butties, nothing better than a midnight craving.
What is your venue's most unique feature?
Our honeymoon suite (brand new for 2022). It's a stand alone building with it's own separate lounge and an amazing bathroom which has a freestanding bathtub for the ultimate relaxation after dancing the night away.
What part of your business are you most proud of?
Us (the staff). We are one big family and are so honoured to be a part of such a special moment in couples journey's together.
