The building in which Mercure Brighton Seafront Hotel stands today was built in 1864 and has played a part in many peoples' lives over the years. Seamlessly blending period features, like the grand Regency staircase, with contemporary elements, such as stylish light fixtures, this venue can transport you from era to era. There are four event spaces peppered throughout the hotel, all of which are licensed to hold a civil ceremony, which means you need not leave this setting of dreams for a moment.
The ballroom is the grandest of all. Your guests will know a sophisticated soirée is on the cards from the moment they see the high ceilings, ornate columns, dazzling chandeliers, and mirrored arches. Hosting up to 100 people for the ceremony and 90 for an evening reception of dining and dancing, all of your nearest and dearest can get an invitation.
After the celebrations have come to an end, you and your guests are welcome to retire to one of the 123 modern guest rooms. For the newlyweds, you deserve nothing less than the best, which the Junior Suite definitely offers. The splendour of the room can be found in the luxurious furnishings, the king-sized bed, and the balcony with views out to the sea, amongst others.

Everything about the day was amazing! The bridal room was lovely,the ceremony room looked fabulous, food amazing. (everyone commented how nice it was) The staff were lovely. You personally were amazing in organizing everyone, helping me with my nerves and making sure the day ran smoothly which it 100% did thanks to you! I must mention also Ola, she was so sweet regarding the cake. The ballroom at the wedding breakfast looked stunning and in the evening even more of a wow factor.
