Description

At Hendall Manor Barns you will be able to create a bespoke day where you can choose from an excellent list of approved caterers to provide the exact food you would like and, along with not charging corkage, you're able to source and supply all of your own drinks at cost. We can recommend florists, photographers, musicians and all things wedding but you are of course welcome to source your own. We are here to help and offer advice should you need it. There have been an extraordinary variety of reception layouts, flowers and themes here at Hendall. Whether you are looking for a relaxed but sophisticated barbeque, vintage style tea party or a formal seated wedding breakfast, the buildings can be easily adapted and decorated to realise your ideas. We are fortunate in being able to provide undercover parking for all guests enabling a dignified and hassle free arrival especially if it is wet. We are also very well equipped for disabled guests with ramps providing access to all areas of the venue. You can get married by civil ceremony, have a celebrant or you may choose to go to hold your ceremony at a local church. We offer the exclusive use and hire of the venue rather than wedding 'packages'.

From our very first visit, we fell in love with the venue and the amazing team – Nicola, Viki and Peter – who supported us every step of the way. They made us feel like the only wedding, accommodated all our requests, and ensured everything ran seamlessly. On the day, Nicola and Viki took all the pressure away with their calm, professional presence, and our guests haven’t stopped saying how wonderful it was. Choosing Hendall was one of the best decisions we made. From the moment we first visited, we knew it was the one — we didn’t even need to look anywhere else. The mix of beautiful old architecture, soft light, and modern touches gave it such a special atmosphere that felt completely us. Nicola, Peter, and Viki were incredible from start to finish. Their warmth, care, and attention to detail made us feel so supported throughout the whole process. Choosing Hendall was one of the best decisions we made. The venue is spectacular (photos don't do it justice!), and the grounds are immaculately maintained. The flow of our day was expertly controlled and coordinated, with our hosts carefully and discretely managing the schedule. We were both made to feel very at ease, and extremely well looked after. This was at least in part due to the caterer, florist, photographer and DJ, who themselves came from a selection provided by Hendall which guarantees excellent quality. We had looked at a series of local venues but as soon as we saw Hendall and spoke with Peter we knew this was exactly where we wanted to get married! Peter, Nic and Viki are so wonderfully organised with superb advice making every step so simple, totally stress-free, joyful and productive. It is a fantastic venue for all weather and we had a Ceilidh in the evening that fit so well with the barn feeling. It is a stunning interior with such character. We hired both the accommodation barns and arrived the afternoon before with some of our wedding party and family which just made it perfect. We recently had our wedding here, from the initial viewing to the actual day itself Nicola and her team were beyond helpful. The grounds and venue have so many great photo opportunities, and staying on site was perfect as it meant everyone was together and ready for the morning!
