From the moment we entered The View Hotel to discuss wedding packages, Mel immediately made us feel very comfortable & offered many suggestions & contacts for the various things we required. Throughout the planning process, Mel was absolutely amazing, making the whole experience stress-free & thoroughly enjoyable. We couldn’t have asked for anything more from Mel & the team. Our expectations for our special day were not only met but exceeded in every way. The organisation of the day was perfect

The View Hotel is a beautiful venue without a doubt and Mel, Daisy and the rest of the event team are extremely friendly, helpful and very talented with a passion for their jobs which is clear to see. Our day was perfect and it’s all thanks to them and The View Hotel as a whole! The food is impeccable, all our guests were complimenting it and even wanted the recipes! The rooms were set out just as we wanted them and given how truly beautiful the rooms were they didn’t even need much extra decoration as it looked magical with the mirrors, ceiling lights and fairly lights also. We couldn’t have picked a better Venue and would highly recommend anyone who is looking to get married to look at The View Hotel as you are bound to have a magical and perfect day just as we did. It’s a day we will treasure and we will never forget the staff and how brilliant they were as they all went above and beyond.

We had the best day. It was brilliantly organised. Everything went like clockwork and smoothly. You truly looked after me and Sam with the drinks and canapés before and after the photos and with keeping us informed with what was going on. The food was delicious and plentiful. The DJ was great and was happy to take requests. All our wedding guests had nothing but praise for the team including the people working the bar. We couldn't have asked for a better day. Thank you for everything.

I am so glad we picked The view as the venue for our wedding. I was a pretty clueless bride, but Mel and the team made everything simple, and answered every question I had. The day its self couldn't have been more perfect, it was completely stress free and ran like clockwork. Even helped us to accommodate watching the football! Daisy helped to make sure the day ran smoothly and was on hand for whatever was needed. The venue is beautiful, the room we slept was wonderful, with lots of little personal touches and the food was delicious. Thank you everyone!

We had a fantastic day. Relaxed and informal which was exactly what we wanted to achieve. The whole day was so well organised. All we had to do was turn up on the day and you even arranged early check in for all our guests so they were at the ceremony on time. Daisy, Isaac and the team were brilliant. The food was very good and I we had excellent feed back from all our guests. We really did have a lovely day. Thank you so much for all your help.

Mel, we are very happy with our event you & Daisy helped to make so special. We found your professionalism & hospitality second to none and your attention to detail spot on. Our guests commented on the excellent food and the nice accommodation. We felt very looked after & felt there is no need to make any suggestions for improvement as you are clearly good at what you do. Kendra Thank you for all you did & for all your work organising the day. The view hotel was the perfect venue for a winter wedding. The weather changed through the day but compared to other hotels this hotel worked well with both & we had fantastic indoor & outdoor pictures. Everything linked together seamlessly & rooms perfectly positioned from meeting up to ceremony, drinks, wedding breakfast & evening party. Wherever we went in the hotel during our stay made us feel like VIP guests.

Our wedding at the view was everything I had ever dreamt of. From the moment we first viewed the hotel we felt valued and welcomed. Mel was absolutely superb. She put my mind at ease and helped me the whole year up to the big day. She answered all my questions and helped with suggestions and they made our day so special. I look back at the photos and videos and beam with joy. It was so very perfect and beautiful. The staff were brilliant and the food everyone talked about how nice it was. The hotel rooms were spotless and perfectly suited to us. We will be visiting the view every year on our anniversary to celebrate. Thank you so much for making the biggest day in our lives the best day of our lives. We will forever be Thankful.
