Corthorpe Mews is home to The Dressing Room, a luxurious haven where you can prepare, spend quality time with loved ones, and catch a glimpse of arriving guests whilst The Campion is a space where your partner can relax in private and prepare for the day ahead. For ceremonies, the Goring Room offers intimate charm with bay windows overlooking the gardens, while The Gazebo provides an enchanting alfresco option with picturesque surroundings and ultimate privacy.
Your wedding breakfast takes place in The Blencowe Room, where grand marble pillars, intricate wood panelling, and dazzling feature lighting set the scene. Food and drink are at the heart of the experience here. From elegant plated courses to family-style sharing boards, wood-fired pizzas or vibrant street food, the chefs work closely with you to create a menu that reflects your style. With a flexible à la carte approach, personalised dishes, signature cocktails and a curated drinks list, every detail is considered. The wedding breakfast food was fantastic and the service ran like clockwork! The pizza's were a great hit! Everyone loved the cocktails, so inventive and they were delicious. Breakfast each morning was just lovely and was beautifully presented - almost looked too good to touch!. All of our friends and family commented on how lovely the venue was and how happy they were with their rooms.From the moment we arrived for our two-night stay, everything was absolutely perfect. We booked the venue around 2 years in advance and found the venue very accommodating and great at keeping in touch in all of the lead up to the day itself. We were assisted by Immy throughout the process and she was great, and on the day itself she was so attentive and helped to make it go really smoothly - nothing was too much for her. The venue itself is stunning, the food and drink was fantastic and all of the staff are exceptional. Pelham is truly the most magical place we have ever been, and I was totally heartbroken to have to leave! The food and drinks were truly outstanding, we also loved having the cocktail bars.From arriving on Thursday evening all the way to check out on Saturday, everything was utterly perfect nothing could have ruined that moment for us. Not only is it the most beautiful wedding venue either myself or my husband have ever been to, but the service we received from start to finish was fantastic. Nothing was too much for Dani and the team and our wedding was more than we could ever have dreamed of. We had a lot of guests but that didn’t seem an issue at any point in the day, the staff were all so accommodating and friendly and they made everything so easy for us. The food and drinks were phenomenal and all of the hotel rooms were absolutely beautiful. A special thanks to Dani for making my dreams come to life, it was all absolutely perfect. A huge thank you to Danielle, our incredible events manager. She was an absolute superstar from day one—so organized, calm, and genuinely passionate about what she does. Danielle made us feel completely at ease throughout the planning and on the big day itself. Danielle kept everything running smoothly behind the scenes so we could fully relax and enjoy every moment. We honestly don’t know what we would have done without her. A special mention has to go to Jonny, the bar manager, who was absolutely incredible throughout the day. Describe the best wedding that happened at your venue?
Every wedding is so different, it is impossible to pick just one but a lot of the vibe and atmosphere of a wedding is set by the the Bride and Groom. A stand out wedding was when one of our couples arranged a Greatest Showman interlude following the wedding breakfast! We had stilt walkers, acrobats, fire eaters and ringmasters. It was great fun!
What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Don’t worry! We are here to help and support you throughout the planning of your day. We can take your ideas, make them work and offer you the bespoke wedding day that you've always dreamt of. The day is about you and whilst of course you want to provide a great experience for your guests – it is your day, so do it your way!
What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
For a winter wedding one of our couples gave guests a Ferrero Rocher (other chocolates are available!) as a wedding favours. To fit in with their winter theme a friend of the couple had hand knitted little woollen mince pie coverings to go over them! They looked absolutely lovely and everyone had a tiny woollen mince pie hat to take home!

Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?
With a wealth of original features and extensive gardens we lots of great photo spots suitable for any time of the year. One of our favourites is under our garden Gazebo!
Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at your venue?
We have indeed, but we would not tell you who! Our couples and guests are entitled to their privacy and should be able to just enjoy themselves when they are with us.
What’s your favourite canapé?
We have over 40 to chose from, so to pick one favourite is difficult! If pressed, it would be between the Sirloin, chips and Béarnaise sauce or the Shitake mushroom, Chinese cabbage and coconut Gyoza. Or maybe the Goat’s cheese and shallot tart...
What’s your favourite midnight treat?
Our most popular evening food is our hand made pizzas (our chef makes them in the outdoor pizza oven, to order, for your guests!). Another favourite is our Street Food. Cooked outdoors in huge pans and woks over street-market-style tripod burners – they're a perfect evening treat before dancing the night away.
What is your venue's most unique feature?
You might be impressed by the unusual ceiling mural we have in reception, but amongst other period features we have 16th Century wood carvings that adorn our breakfast room.
What part of your business are you most proud of?
Pelham House is a gorgeous venue, but the thing that makes it all work are the people. Our business is weddings, we only hold weddings, so everyone who works with us loves weddings and making each day as unique and special as possible.
