Pelham House

I can not recommend Pelham House enough! Emily (wedding coordinator) was truly my saving grace for the day. She was calm, professional and on it! My original wedding coordinator left the venue 2 weeks before the venue so she had to catch up within 2 weeks. She was amazing! Listened to everything I had planned for the day. She made the morning of my wedding as I was calm all morning because I trusted her to make sure my vision came to light.

Such a great experience having our wedding at Pelham. The team were always so responsive and helpful, and nothing felt like too much or an inconvenience for them. The food was incredible, and the staff were so professional. Isla, our coordinator, was incredible and made sure we were constantly happy.

Pelham house - what a little hidden gem. The grounds are just beautiful. The event coordinators are amazing and make sure your day runs so smoothly. Their communication is also top tier prior to the wedding. The food was outstanding and the rooms were so lovely, especially given how affordable they are! Exclusive use is also a bonus.

I love photographing weddings at Pelham House! There are so many gorgeous spots for portraits and the house is so beautifully done. The staff are always so welcoming and accommodating, and the food is delicious. With Lewes just on the doorstep, and options for both indoor and outdoor ceremonies, it really is one of my favourite local venues all year round.

I've photographed two weddings at Pelham House over the last 18 months and I've absolutely loved them both. I've really appreciated the layout and decor inside Pelham House, the beautiful dining area and short walk up to the Castle.

The experience we had at Pelham House truly helped make our day so special. At every single turn, they not only wowed us, but they consistently went above and beyond to ensure we were happy. The venue itself is outstandingly gorgeous and the Christmas decorations turned it into a true winter Wonderland. The food, whether it was the wedding breakfast, canapés or evening pizza, was truly gourmet and all our guests absolutely raved about it. Finally, the service we received was impeccable.

The most beautiful setting for our daughter’s wedding day, having lived in East Sussex all our lives, we never knew this was here just off the main high street, entered through a courtyard, once inside it is truly breathtaking and beautiful and very elegant.

I was the photographer recently for a wedding at the amazing Pelham House. It was such a please to work at this beautiful venue. I can highly recommend it if you're getting married the staff were extremely professional and took great care of everyone on the day. I hope to be back again soon to shoot another wedding.

We knew when we were looking for a venue we wanted to be able to get ready there and also stay with friends and family. We originally thought we wanted a barn until we saw Pelham house. The goring room for me was the most beautiful room. The grounds were perfect and well maintained and even in bad weather it still managed to look perfect.

I photographed a wedding here in late 2022. It's a gorgeous venue, tastefully refurbished to be modern but to withhold it's 1920s charm. Big enough for all your guests but not so big that they all spread out and disappear! It's light and airy so perfect for photos. Lovely food and great staff!
