The stunning Apple Barn is licensed for your civil ceremony. With beautiful views, your outdoor ceremony is in a truly magical setting, with the option to hold your ceremony inside our marquee. Following your ceremony, we encourage you to enjoy the acres of land for photographs and activities, retiring to the Crown Barn terrace for your drinks reception. Meanwhile, you can take the opportunity to visit our lakes for your stunning wedding photos and take in the beautiful Sussex countryside as the new Mr & Mrs!
The Crown Barn is ideal for your wedding celebrations, accommodating 200 guests for a wedding breakfast, a daytime minimum number of 80 adult guests. The barn was hand-built using local oak, brick and stone and has been finished with exposed beams and gothic-inspired chandeliers. The barn’s features are modern yet rustic and provide the ideal canvas for your reception. An entire side of the barn can be opened up to let the outside in; you can have the feel of an outdoor event without the commitment to unpredictable weather. Our newly paved drinks reception area is beautifully sheltered by stunning willow trees, creating a relaxed place in which to enjoy a few refreshments and your guests’ company, with benches, outdoor seating and even Fire Pits.
You will be able to design your own wedding breakfast with the assistance of our team. From creative canapes, to formal three-course meals to hog roasts, BBQs and street food, there are there are a variety of dishes plus the opportunity to experience some of Circa's quirky evening food options such as The Circa Pizza Van, Bert & Ernie Street Food Karts & Bev the Gelato Bike.
Our Gothic inspired rustic barn lends itself perfectly to big evening celebrations, with capacity for up to 250 guests, dancefloor included and sofa booths for your any non-dancing guests to kick back and watch the festivities. Our Resident DJ will play all your favourite tunes so you & your guests can dance the night away!

Its a very 'Sussex' Barn in design, a bit quirky and not your usual modern construction.
What part of your business are you most proud of?
I just love the personal experience at Laughton. We build great relationships with our clients and seeing it all come together on the day is just wonderful, the usual phrase is 'You did it!'
