Everyone I spoke to from the staff at reception to both managers that came in during set up were so incredibly helpful and polite, it really does make such a difference working in a space where staff are so welcoming. The Cromwell is such a beautiful wedding venue and it was a joy to see one of my cakes set up in such a beautiful setting. Thank you to you all at the Cromwell for having me. Hotel Cromwell itself is beautiful, with lots of different spaces inside and out for photographs. It is down to earth and very reasonably priced. They are also dog friendly! The lead up to the wedding was totally stress free. Lina answered all our questions and we were kept informed the whole way through. On the day itself, the staff went above and beyond. Megan coordinated everything perfectly and was a calming presence. Everything ran on time and all our special requests were catered for. Our vendors all spoke very highly of the Hotel Cromwell, saying how welcome they felt and how easy set up/pack down was for them. The suite was beautiful and the staff were so helpful moving us from our prep room to the suite before the wedding. The venue also gifted us a lovely drawing of the hotel by a local artist when we left which is honestly one of the best gifts we received! Every single member of the team was so helpful and friendly and professional. We cant thank them enough for the best day and run up to the wedding.We knew we wanted to book this venue from the moment we attended an open day. When we went to our first event held by Hotel Cromwell, we found it very affordable as well as beautiful. Throughout the planning stages we had as much contact as we needed- invites to open evenings, menu tasting and just an email away to answer queries. As we led nearer to the day, our event co-ordinator Lina met with us and covered a huge amount of organisation- guest total, timings, rooms etc. Then we met Megan who was to be working on the day- and covered more details and little touches they can offer. Napkins, drinks, scheduling time to spend just as husband and wife immediately after the ceremony. We felt well looked after and truly spoilt. Nothing was too much trouble. We had freedom to decide every detail and even managed to schedule the wedding for a bank holiday weekend. We had a lovely time and the whole planning process was a breeze with Lina and Megan. What I am most proud of is our team’s ability to take the stress entirely off our couples' shoulders from the moment they book. Hotel Cromwell has so much authentic character—from the original timber beams to the gorgeous inglenook fireplaces—but a beautiful venue is nothing without a dedicated team behind it. We get to know each couple personally, helping them weave their own style and when a couple tells me the morning after their wedding that they felt like guests at their own celebration because we handled every behind-the-scenes detail flawlessly, that is the ultimate reward."

The Big Decision! How Do We Officially Lock In Our Date So Nobody Steals It? 🔒
It’s super simple! Once you fall in love with a date, we can hold it provisionally for you. To make it officially yours, we just require a signed contract and a non-refundable deposit.
After that, the date is no longer day, month and year but known only as your WEDDING DAY - let the countdown begin 🎉
