We made the best decision to select Ashridge

Dear Georgia and Bryher, Shera and I would like to thank you and the Ashridge House team for everything you did to make our wedding the most wonderful experience imaginable. It was an absolute joy to work with you to bring our ideas to reality. Every member of the team excelled in their service and our guests were full of praise for the Ashridge hospitality. We made the best decision to select Ashridge as our wedding venue and cannot think of a single factor that could have been better.

Ricky & Siobhan wedding

Ashridge House was amazing and the staff where fantastic lara was are wedding manager and she was fantastic. One down side was we paid £1500 for the evening food but when the guests asked where it was at the time I when and checked with the bar to find out it was put out already around the corner in the seating area in the bar to find out there was nothing there when I asked the bar staff it was not there they said it was but must of been taken back to the kitchen. When I emailed Ashridge after the wedding they said it was out and the Dj should of been told to let everyone know when I asked the dj that's a good friend of ours he said no one told him to let everyone know it was out. I related this information back to Ashridge and have not heard anything back about this so a waste of £1500 really and abit disposed as everything when so perfect.

Describe Ashridge House in 5 adjectives

Unique Spectacular Castle (although not strictly speaking a castle!) Heritage Fairy Tale

Where’s the best photo spot at Ashridge House?

Our Harry Potter staircase! The staircase in the Grand Hall was the inspiration behind the moveable staircase in the Harry Potter movies!

Our twilight bites!

The site dates back to 1283, when it was a monastery founded by Edmund, Earl of Cornwall, in 1539 Ashridge became a royal residence to King Henry VIII and his children. The young Princess Elizabeth I lived at Ashridge, until she was arrested and sent to the Tower of London!

What part of your business are you most proud of?
