Complete with a blend of romantic gothic and Italian architecture, original chandeliers, marble fireplaces, opulent golf-leaf adorned painted ceilings, 190 acres of landscaped gardens and our breath-taking staircase to complement your style. Wedding planning journey - You will be assigned a personal Wedding Coordinator to help with all the venue planning, who will also be there on the big day, working tirelessly behind the scenes, to ensure your vision comes to life! So you can rest easy knowing that you are experienced and friendly hands. Morning of your day - You and your Wedding party can get ready and relax in one of our Heritage rooms Your ceremony, civil or religious - Licenced for civil ceremonies for up to 180 of your family and friends on our breath-taking staircase - Why not say ‘I do’ in our stunning garden settings – South terrace, Italian gardens, Rose gardens, Herb gardens and many more… - The Ashridge House Chapel is available for your Christian blessing, conducted by our Reverend or your own officiant if required Our capacity - We have various options for your sit-down meal, ranging from 90 guests to 280 guests Stay with us - We have 189 bedrooms onsite, perfect for you and your guests to rest your heads at the end of an amazing day Our Gardens - Set within 190 acres of beautiful, landscaped gardens, perfect for your all-important photos Getting here - Only 30 minutes from London via car and train - Complimentary parking onsite

We were handed over to Jamie Rennie 6 months before the big day and hit it off instantly although we’ve no doubt he makes all couples feel as at ease as we did. Nothing was too much trouble, he brought energy (and an immense amount of patience at times) when we were flagging and just overall made the whole process totally seamless, he really had our backs and worked so hard both in the lead up and on the day to give us the day of our dreams. Both my husband and I felt Jamie was an integral part of our wedding, we absolutely loved working with him. A special thank you also to Bobby who was a total superstar on the night too. Ashridge will always hold a very special place in our hearts. Every single person we worked with was so professional and really knew what they were talking about (we found this a rarity across other venues we toured). This was a dream wedding venue for us & it did not disappoint. I can't tell you how amazing they were from booking until our big day. On the day our wedding co-ordinator Beth took care of everything, made sure all my suppliers knew what to do and when & also ensuring we were all ready for the start time. We had access to lots of rooms to get ready in, the whole Ashridge team were amazing & the food was incredible. Every single guest was blown away by the stunning venue, the friendly staff and the amazing food. Ashridge is worth every penny if you want a dream wedding. Oh where do i start? Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?
Our Harry Potter staircase! The staircase in the Grand Hall was the inspiration behind the moveable staircase in the Harry Potter movies!
Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at your venue?
We often have high profile guests at Ashridge House, we are always very discreet though!
What’s your favourite canapé?
Hard to choose as our chefs are so talented, Salmon tempura with wasabi and lime mayonnaise is one of our favourites though!
What’s your favourite midnight treat?
Our twilight bites!
What is your venue's most unique feature?
The site dates back to 1283, when it was a monastery founded by Edmund, Earl of Cornwall, in 1539 Ashridge became a royal residence to King Henry VIII and his children. The young Princess Elizabeth I lived at Ashridge, until she was arrested and sent to the Tower of London!
What part of your business are you most proud of?
Ashridge is a truly unique and beautiful venue, it is very special and unlike any hotel or other venue, with its own heritage and charm.
