The venue was stunning with the autumn colours, and it was cosy and elegant inside, with candles and log fires making it a lovely warm atmosphere. The standard of the food was amazing, the other guests were commenting on it too. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, it definitely felt relaxed and not stuffy - like a very classy home from home!I recently attended a wedding at Hemswell Court and it was simply beautiful. Wow what a venue, the grounds were beautifully managed with an outdoor bandstand for those who would like to marry outside, with many photo opportunities available. The venue itself was stunning with large function rooms for the wedding breakfast and the evening reception, (yes we were there all day and night). The food which served to us was second to none, and dietary requirements were catered for with ease. From what we saw the day ran seamlessly. The staff were very attentive, polite and friendly and nothing was too much trouble, a credit to the business. We stayed overnight, the guest accommodation was beautiful and clean and the rooms furnished to a very high standard. After a great nights sleep we were presented with a delicious choice breakfast the following morning, it was clear to see and taste that good quality food was served. A wonderful time was had, would I recommend this beautiful venue…..absolutely 😊We had the privilege of attending this beautiful venue for a family member. All I can say is what a fantastic time we had! As a retired chef of 50 years you can maybe understand that i can be a bit picky but I can honestly say this is maybe the best function I have attended, food was SUBERB! so many staff on hand and all very polite and attentive.
