The most amazing wedding!

The lead upto our wedding was completely stress free and the communication excellent! We had to postpone due to covid and Kirsty offered us lots of alternative dates and made the process really easy. The day of the wedding Kirsty took care of everything and we were able to enjoy our wedding without stressing over the order of the day etc. The grounds are absolutely beautiful and they make for really stunning photos! It really was one of the best days of our lives!

December wedding 2020 & 2021

Our initial wedding date was set for August 6th 2020, however COVID 19 had other plans. We were on our 6th month countdown to the wedding when covid sent us all into lockdown and like many other brides and grooms, we were anxious as to if this virus would pass or it would affect our wedding day. Throughout the upcoming months to the wedding date, Kirsty was amazing throughout the whole experience, we would be emailing monthly to find the latest updates on the rules at the time. Kirsty was very accommodating with regards to video calls to update and advise about what our options were at the time. As things started easing off in the summer we were a month away from our original date, when we discussed with Kirsty about changing our date to a December wedding. Kirsty and the whole team at Healing were amazing and enabled us to change our date. With this in mind, my now husband and I, had already agreed at the time we will be getting married on 21st December no matter what was going on in the world. Fast track to October 2020, wedding planning became stressful again as we were just awaiting news updates weekly up until the last 2 weeks. Between myself and Kirsty, we would have phone calls about the options of the wedding and what we could do. Unfortunately due to the restrictions around the dates of our wedding, gatherings of large amounts were not allowed to mix as well as restaurants were still not open, so our wedding reception couldn't go ahead. We was absolutely devastated, legally got married on 21st December 2020 in a local church with 15 of our family and friends surrounding us, with the rest of family and friends joining us through a zoom call. As we still wanted to make the most of the day, we arranged with Kirsty and the chef's at Healing to still have, what we would of had as our wedding breakfast, so after we got married at the church, we headed over to Healing Manor to have wedding photos taken on the Manor grounds, then our guests that we had with us on the day collected their 3 course wedding meal, to take home and share over zoom with us. Fortunately my husband and I, were able to spend the night in the bridal suite, so this made our feel even more special considering the rules at the time. Those that ate with us on that date have all agreed how amazing their 3 course wedding meal was and said how amazing their food was, considering it was a 'Take out' wedding meal and it was still hot by the time they had arrived home. As we still had our deposit down from the original wedding, we finally decided to throw our wedding party on our first anniversary. With covid restrictions starting to ease of and life returning a little bit back to normal, it was nice to get excited about wedding planning again and being in touch with Kirsty and her amazing events team. Again we had several meetings up until the actual party, discussing menu choices, drink requirements and how the evening would go and what we could expect with regards to covid and what the back up plan would be, if things went back into lockdown. However it was in our favour and we FINALLY got to celebrate in The Barn, with our friends and family. Kirsty was amazing, she knew how important it was for us as the couple to see friends and family enjoying themselves, she made sure that our guests had drinks, shots and WKD's in their hands. The team that worked the evening of our wedding made our guests feel safe with regards to wearing masks and hand sanitisers available at different discrete spots within the venue. As the venue was already beautifully decorated ready for Christmas by Jack Loves Jill, we asked Amy just to add additional bits to add to the venue such as extra lighting and it just felt cosy and elegant. I can't thank Kirsty enough for being there for me during the wedding planning process and the amazing team at Healing Manor to provide the most amazing food and venue we could have picked for our wedding.

Most amazing Time

We had the most amazing time at Healing Manor for our wedding ceremony and reception. It was absolutely seamless, the place was beautifully decorated and Kirsty and her team couldn't do enough for us. Everyone commented on the food and how much they enjoyed our special day. Kirsty and her team talked us though everything to keep us informed and up to date with any changes that were going on and answered all of those niggling little detail questions I'm sure we all have. Thank you Kirsty, Healing Manor and The Pig and Whistle for accommodating us, my family and friends, we had a wonderful time. I would highly recommend this venue for a wedding. Most amazing wedding weekend

Our wedding was held at the Healing Manor Hotel back in August 2021. We stayed for two nights during our wedding weekend. The first night we booked an intimate evening meal for our close family in the Private Dining Room also known as the Cure All Lounge. We were welcomed by the hotel owner herself Charlotte, who was incredibly attentive and made sure we all had a lovely evening. The food was absolutely faultless! Charlotte also went out of her way to make sure there was something for my 4 year old daughter to eat, as she is a very fussy eater. The Bridal suite and all of our family and friend’s rooms were beautifully presented and immaculate. With all the usual commodities and the extra little touches to finish off a lovely stay. After meeting with our wedding coordinator Kirsty several times before our final date, we knew we were in very capable hands. Kirsty made us feel very calm especially with all the date changes due to covid. Nothing was too much trouble and she was extremely efficient. She ensured that our day ran as smoothly as possible. We also ended up decorating the venue ourselves due to covid and when our suppliers were no longer available. Kirsty and her team helped make this possible and we were extremely pleased with the end result. Our wedding day was everything we ever imagined, even with a light drizzle it didn’t dampen our day one bit! The venue is so beautiful inside and out. The food was sensational. One of the reasons we chose this venue was the award winning food by The Lincolnshire Chef, Steven. He didn’t disappoint. As well as everyone commenting on the delicious food and vast quantities of it they also mentioned how amazing all the staff were during our day too. They all went above and beyond to make our day as memorable and as special as it was. We are forever grateful to all those involved. If you are considering choosing Healing Manor as your wedding venue, book it!

Our day was perfect

We had our wedding here in August and Kirsty was absolutely fab. I couldnt even put into words how good she was! She would notice any stress before i even said anything and was over to me in seconds to calm me down and help with anything she could. The day would not have run as smooth without Kirsty there to keep everyone in line. We could never thank you enough for making sure our day was perfect. Thank you so much💖

Can not thank them enough!

I can not thank healing manor enough for what they have done for my husband and I!! Our wedding was booked for April but due to current situations we had to postpone until November. They were all really helpful and accommodating for moving the celebrations and really quick at replying even though they must have been inundated with emails. We had also decided to move our ceremony forwards as we just wanted to be married, which again the team we’re really accommodating. Even through all their struggles and tough times they are facing they managed to open up the barn for us and made us feel so special arranging music for us and a proper mini ceremony (in line with government guidelines at the time) even though the night before being told they were to close their doors to trade. We ordered takeaway food and champagne to take back home with us which was delicious and still presented so beautifully in its container. Can not wait to have our celebrations with them in November. Would thoroughly recommend them as a wedding venue and a restaurant

Micro wedding with restrictions

We had our micro wedding in at Healing Manor after rearranging our original date from May due to the Corona Virus. The staff (especially Kirsty) could not have made our day any better. With guidelines changing 2 weeks before our new date nothing was ever too much trouble and all our needs and worries were always answered to. We were really worried about having a micro wedding as it wasn’t the day we originally planned but it turned out better than we could have ever thought. The grounds, food and bridal suite was just wonderful and we can’t wait to book our celebration once the restrictions allow. I couldn’t imagine getting married anywhere else
