Grains Bar Hotel

We had our wedding on the 6th of May 2023 and from start to end it was perfect. We got to know the team throughout our planning and despite a hiccup with some building work at the venue they delivered a truely perfect day

Went to my nieces wedding here and was quite surprised at how nice it was. The staff were fantastic and couldn't do enough. The room was great too.

The wedding we attended last weekend here was run with military precision; great food and the staff were really switched on and attentive. 5 stars.

Went to a fabulous wedding last night and stayed over in the hotel… the venue was fantastic… very well organised …. Beautiful food in the evening and perfect breakfast in the morning My room had amazing views and was lovely! The bathroom was gleaming! Highly recommend a stay over

Arrived for a family wedding . The staff are lovely and made everyone very welcome. Well done ladies! The rooms are very clean and some have fantastic views-we had a double room (number 11). The wedding room was so pretty and the whole thing was just lovely. Our food was absolutely delicious and I have to say that the garlic mushrooms on sour dough toast (starter) was fabulous! For breakfast we opted for the cooked option which was really nice and there was a veggie option too. The location is wonderful for people wanting dramatic outdoor photos with lovely scenery in the background. It was just lovely .

Kind and friendly staff, the staff have organised the wedding very well and the food was amazing. Rooms are clean and cute. Definitely recommend this place to people.

We first made contact with the Grains bar in February 2019 and were introduced to Lisa and Louise since then they had been nothing but amazing! We were due to get married in April 2020, having to change dates 4 times we finally had our special day in March this year. The ladies were amazing throughout the whole covid ordeal remaining professional and ensuring they could do everything possible to accommodate. We are forever grateful to the ladies as we've read some stories of people's wedding cancellations etc and the experience we had with the Grains was nothing but amazing. Onto the wedding, myself and some family checked in the night before. The staff were so lovely and friendly and a credit to the hotel. We enjoyed a lovely meal in the restaurant that evening and breakfast on the wedding morning. The wedding day was perfect, such a beautiful venue which was more than I even imagined. The wedding party commented on how we had found such a beautiful venue and wanted to know how we had come across it. The food (Carvey) was the BEST! I think almost all of my wedding party commented on how much they had enjoyed the food. Oh and the pizza and pies in the evening were a winner. More guests checked in for the evening and enjoyed a delicious breakfast in the restaurant the morning after. The ladies work tirelessly and ensure that everything is perfect, and I couldn't recommend this venue enough. I literally don't have a bad word to say about this place. We have since been back for Sunday lunch. We would recommend to visit the restaurant for breakfast or lunch. You won't be disappointed! A big thank you to Lisa, Louise, Mel and all of the staff who made our wedding weekend so special! x

Just got back from my wedding at Grains Bar Hotel! 100% would recommend. Everything ran perfectly and Lisa and Louise were instrumental to that! The ceremony room and the function room were beautiful and all of the staff were constantly on hand to help (including helping me pin my dress up so I could walk later on!) fab food on the day and the morning after. The best start to married life. Thank you for everything!

Stayed here this weekend for my brothers wedding. The ceremony and reception room were dressed beautifully. Every member of staff we talked to was helpful and friendly and it's obvious they genuinely want their guests to have a great experience at Grains bar. Bedroom was spotless, views were spectacular and wedding meal and breakfast were faultless.
