The venue is absolutely stunning and the staff were amazing. From start to finish the day ran seamlessly against an amazing backdrop. I am sad that it is over and would recommend this venue to all couples considering getting married!

We got married at Colshaw Hall on 18.04.25, and it was beyond perfect—truly a dream come to life. The venue is nothing short of breathtaking, with immaculate grounds, stunning interiors, and an atmosphere straight from a fairytale. But what truly sets Colshaw apart is the staff. They are next-level incredible—attentive, kind, and flawlessly professional. Every detail was executed with precision and genuine care. We felt so supported and special the entire day. From the day we visited Colshaw hall we knew that this was the place we were going to get married! From start to finish the day was absolutely incredible! From the moment we booked our dream day at Colshaw, to the minute I woke up at the beautiful bridal lodge, right through our ceremony, wedding breakfast and evening reception, the team at Colshaw were outstanding. We had support every single step of the way from a dedicated team who honestly could not do enough for us. They really added that extra special touch to our wedding. Colshaw are so very attentive, and have every single moment planned out to perfection. Our wedding day was utterly gorgeous, set in the most beautiful stately home in beautiful grounds. We had an absolutely fantastic experience with Colshaw Hall from start to finish. They were incredibly accommodating, allowing us to visit multiple times to plan details and bring family members to see the venue. In the lead-up to our big day, their team was so helpful in assisting with setup and final preparations. On the day itself, the staff were always nearby, ready to assist with any questions or last-minute details, ensuring everything ran seamlessly. We cannot thank the team at Colshaw Hall enough. Our wedding say in September was all we could have dreamed of! From the outset the Team were contactable, approachable and able to answer any queries quickly and efficiently. Nothing was too much bother for them, and they made the whole wedding planning process fun and eased our stress! The final meeting 6 weeks before our wedding allowed us to totally relax in the final weeks running up to the day. On the day itself, everything was perfect. Kirsty ensured that we had the best day of our lives, and our guests commented on how well ran the day was - some saying it was the best wedding they have ever been to! The organisation of the Colshaw Team ensured that we could fully immerse ourselves and enjoy the day. There aren’t enough words to express how fab the Colshaw Team are - they have got it down to a tee and we hope that we can come back to the venue as wedding guests in the future!

We held our wedding at Colshaw Hall in November 2024 and we would like to thank the whole team at Colshaw for making our wedding day the most magical and special day - one that we will remember forever. We knew from the moment we attended an open event last December and David (owner) showed us around that Colshaw Hall was the perfect setting for our dream wedding but the day itself surpassed both of our expectations. It goes without saying how beautiful the venue is - the rooms in the hall are grand and the grounds are stunning - both make for perfect photograph opportunities! The vista in the ceremony hall provides a breathtaking backdrop for the ceremony. Our guests were even treated to a stunning display of dancing squirrels and robins whilst they waited our arrival! However, it is the team at Colshaw Hall that really make this venue so special. As a same sex couple, it was important that our wedding venue felt safe and inclusive for everyone, and every single member of the Colshaw Hall team made us feel comfortable from the very first moment we visited the venue. The Colshaw Hall events management team were exceptional throughout the whole process. Shelley and Tracey provided us with endless support and guidance in preparing for the day and were so responsive and accommodating of all of our requests. The Floral Team at Colshaw provided us with the most beautiful floral arrangements in the Ceremony Hall and Peel Suite, and Barretts Caterers provided the most delicious food (and lots of it!) ensuring that our guests were well fed. On the wedding day itself, Marisa and Sarah took such great care of us and our guests as they arrived, and made us feel so relaxed and comfortable at every moment - making sure we had fizz in our hands, button holes on our jackets and arrived at the Ceremony Hall precisely on time. Ian as our toastmaster was just incredible - so warm, so calming and made us feel incredibly relaxed. He made sure that we were able to take moments throughout the day to take it all in - and our guests absolutely loved him! He greeted our families as if they were old friends and gave it a really personal feel by taking time to get to know their names. Our guests all commented on how stunning the venue was and how attentive the staff were and this made everyone feel so welcome and inclusive - which was extremely important to us as a couple.
