On average, most weddings we host are between 50-120 guests, we can cater for both larger weddings up to 200 and more intimate weddings. There's everything you need for a day you've always dreamed about in this private, family run venue. Merrydale Manor is approached by a long, sweeping drive and is nestled on 300 acres of beautiful countryside. There's a makeup suite which is a sensational space to get aisle-ready, plus the cave for your wedding party to relax in before the ceremony. If you choose to get married on the estate, there's a gorgeous Ceremony Room with glass backdrop overlooking open parkland and featuring oak beams and limestone floors. The Merrydale Suite is a jaw-dropping space to hold you wedding breakfast and enjoy your evening celebrations. You can choose to stay in the Manor House the night of your wedding, complete with four luxury bedrooms and there are a further 15 bedrooms on the estate for your guests. There are 10 bespoke rooms, all designed in the theme of countryside animals and five luxury eco pods new for 2021 in a lovely wooded area. Merrydale Manor is proud of its feedback and your wedding coordinator will look after you from beginning to end!

Our pricing varies depending on the day of the week, the time of the year and which areas of the venue you'd like to hire and is not based on guest numbers. The lowest total pricing quoted is based on an off-peak Monday-Wednesday date & the highest total pricing is based on a high-peak (July & August). Both prices include the exclusive venue hire along with accommodation for up to 28 people onsite for all dates until the end of 2026.

This is not the first wedding my family have booked at this venue, from start to finish everything was unbelievable, the venue, the catering (Barrett’s) the florist (IDo Events) was perfect! They listened to everything we wanted and needed to make sure our day was just unbelievable. The venue owner Mike was unreal, along with Robyn who was our main point of contact. Spotless venue, great coordination throughout. I can’t recommend this place enough! There really are no words to describe just how perfect our wedding day was. I had always dreamt of a fairytale wedding and Merrydale Manor really was the perfect venue to give us that and more! From the moment we stepped foot in the venue on our viewing, right up until the very end of our wedding day, the team were absolutely incredible. Nothing was too big of an ask and they really did take away some of the stresses of planning a wedding. There really are no words to describe just how perfect our wedding day was. I had always dreamt of a fairytale wedding and Merrydale Manor really was the perfect venue to give us that and more! From the moment we stepped foot in the venue on our viewing, right up until the very end of our wedding day, the team were absolutely incredible. Nothing was too big of an ask and they really did take away some of the stresses of planning a wedding.

We got married here in March 2024 and if there’s one thing I can say about Merrydale it’s they are absolute professionals (almost military!) at what they do. This team is INCREDIBLE. The amount of questions I had in the year or 2 before our wedding day, and how professional and swiftly they were answered by Nikita and the team was so reassuring. I’ve honestly never dealt with a more professional team in my life and although I knew I could trust them, I still had those bridal nerves on the weddinWe got married here in March 2024 and if there’s one thing I can say about Merrydale it’s they are absolute professionals (almost military!) at what they do. Merrydale Manor are simply the best at what they do! The staff are amazing and take the stress out of what can be a very stressful time. The venue is absolutely beautiful and we had our dream day last Sunday. Everything works like clockwork and we could not have picked a better place to host our special day! We visited 21 venues before visiting Merrydale Manor and once we saw it there was no where else we could have picked! It blew the competition out of the water! On 24.08.24 I said ‘I do’ at my childhood home here at Merrydale Manor along with our closest friends, family and our little boy Harley. An absolute joy from start to finish. We were lucky enough to have use of the Manor the night before, which really extended the celebrations, although you can use the dedicated Bridal Lodge if the Manor is in use. Staff (Sam and Georgia) were present but discreet, and saw that the day ran smoothly and efficiently. The venue was beautifully decorated with Christmas trees, lights and decorations which gave it a fabulous holiday feel. Such a spectacular setting for a stunning wedding. An absolute joy from start to finish. We were lucky enough to have use of the Manor the night before, which really extended the celebrations, although you can use the dedicated Bridal Lodge if the Manor is in use. It was absolutely the best day of our lives and we’re so honoured to have had our wedding at Merrydale with such an incredible team. It was completely seamless on the day. Everything was organised by you all to perfection and it really just proved why you are one of the best venues in the country.
