Merrydale Manor

An absolute joy from start to finish. We were lucky enough to have use of the Manor the night before, which really extended the celebrations, although you can use the dedicated Bridal Lodge if the Manor is in use. Staff (Sam and Georgia) were present but discreet, and saw that the day ran smoothly and efficiently. The venue was beautifully decorated with Christmas trees, lights and decorations which gave it a fabulous holiday feel. Such a spectacular setting for a stunning wedding. Thank you Merrydale Team - dream location!

I just wanted to say a HUGE HUGE thank you to everyone for everything at our wedding. It was absolutely the best day of our lives and we’re so honoured to have had our wedding at Merrydale with such an incredible team. It was completely seamless on the day. As I work at Merrydale I felt totally relaxed knowing I was in safe hands and I genuinely felt like a bride too. Everything was organised by you all to perfection and it really just proved why we are one of the best venues in the country. If you’re considering getting married at Merrydale yourself it will be one of the best decisions you’ll make🤍🤍🤍

We had an amazing day! Everything went to plan ❤️ I didn’t feel stressed or nervous in the slightest with the support of the staff before and on the big day - Stefan the Tall Toastmaster was AMAZING!! He knew exactly what was what, how it’s done and was amazing with our photographer who was new to the venue. The only hiccup we had was the evening staff turning over for the next wedding in the night were very loud.. I had to ask for them to be quiet. This was mentioned the next day - staff it was mentioned to were very apologetic.

We don’t have the words to describe just how wonderful and perfect our day was at the amazing Merrydale Manor! This was the first venue we looked at when booking our wedding and no other place compared! All the staff are amazing, made all our family and friends feel welcome and made our day so special, we really can’t thank all the staff enough, they all made our day! If anyone is looking for the venue of dream we highly highly recommend you book Merrydale Manor Sophie & Joshua❤️

Where do we start??? If you’re looking to get married this is the one!! Only venue we viewed as we fell in love with it straight away and had it booked before we left! The location, the grounds, the manor and its surroundings are perfect! From the day of booking the staff have been unbelievable , nothing was too much for them, they are all very polite and friendly, happy to help with any query! Our guests had no faults and loved how organised and well run the day was, Like clockwork! We can’t thank Merrydale enough for creating the perfect wedding day! We wish we could do it all over again!

I honestly could not have asked for a better day! The staff were so attentive, the only time I was stressed was an hour before the ceremony (due to nerves and running late), after that so many guests told me how relaxed I looked throughout the day. The staff took care of everything! I didn’t receive a lot of communication until right before my wedding (although this is normal), but every time I had a question or wanted advice they were quick to reply to my emails! The guests loved Merrydale too, I received none stop compliments throughout the day and after. I wish I could do it all over again and I wouldn’t have picked anywhere else!
