A perfect day...A perfect day...
We just wanted to say a heartfelt thank you for what was just the most unbelievable day. We were really at ease, you made the experience stress free and we’re incredibly grateful for that. Bar staff, coordinators, suppliers, literally it all fell into place and we couldn’t have asked for the day to have gone any better, it exceeded expectations and I only wish I could do it all again. We had the most amazing day, it exceeded our expectations and those of our guests. Everyone had an amazing experience and loved the exclusivity of Hever and couldn't believe the attention to detail you provided. We feel truly blessed to have been married at such an exquisite venue, and to have received such kindness and support throughout our planning up to our day. "The Best Wedding Ever!""The Best Wedding Ever!"
When Googling castle wedding venues in the UK, Hever popped up at the top of my search. Being that it was already my favourite place on earth from a previous visit, at once it became the ONLY place I wanted for my dream wedding! I called Hever's events department for details, and once my groom was on board (which was immediately), the year-long wedding planning began! Sherry was my most wonderful, most patient, most helpful coordinator, and amongst many initial suggestions, she mentioned that if we chose a date in January, the venue is closed to the public for the month, so we could have the castle to ourselves, all day, for our wedding (plus lit fireplaces!) That sounded divine! My whole group, including myself, was coming from the US, and most of us don't drive in the UK, so we faced all sorts of logistical hurdles to attending a wedding in a remote part of England. But Sherry helped me every step of the way. Our big group of Yanks ended up filling the Hever B&B for two nights, so we enjoyed a full weekend at Hever, and our wedding day was not rushed. I selected my fantastic vendors from Hever's recommended suppliers list (which is useful for someone who lives abroad.) Every single person who worked with me along the planning stage was a dream! Hever's catering team, their florist Pamela, Ginny in the gift shop, and my fabulous suppliers, were all GREAT! For the entire wedding weekend, the operations team, lead by Nicky, was impeccable. Everything was PERFECT! The food was delicious, the service flawless, the ceremony and receptions (before and after "wedding breakfast") went smoothly, without a hitch; they even let us cut our cake in the drawing room and have a sparkler moment in front of the castle! Our ceremony was in the Inner Hall, we dined in the Great Hall, and did our evening reception in the beautiful Tudor Suite of the Astor Wing. Our rooms and the service in the B&B were amazing. It was beyond magical. My guests told me that it was the "best wedding ever", and I have to agree! It was a dream come true. From start to finish the wedding team at Hever defined professionalism in everything they do. Nothing was ever too much to ask and our day went off without a single issue. I couldn't recommend this venue enough, not just because of how incredible the venue itself is, but because it is supported by the most incredible team. Thank you again to Sarah, Nicky, Paul, Pavla and the rest of the team for making our day one we will look back on fondly for the rest of our lives.From start to finish the wedding team at Hever defined professionalism in everything they do. Adrien and I are so happy and glad we chose Hever as our wedding location. We received many compliments! Everyone absolutely loved it! Thanks again for everything, having a wedding coordinator really made all the wedding planning much easier and less stressful. The food was absolutely delicious! Canapés, wedding breakfast, the reception food. We received many compliments that the Prosecco and house wine were wonderful. Everyone was well fed and enjoyed the food! Happy guests = happy couple! We had been liaising with Sarah Grove during the last few months and everything we planned with Sarah was executed perfectly on the evening. Nicky and her team gave exemplary service throughout the evening and the food was of a very high standard. The Great Hall was a stunning venue for such an event especially accompanied by a beautiful harpist ! A number of guests stayed overnight and loved the rooms and breakfast! We had been liaising with Sarah Grove during the last few months and everything we planned with Sarah was executed perfectly on the evening. Nicky and her team gave exemplary service throughout the evening and the food was of a very high standard. The Great Hall was a stunning venue for such an event especially accompanied by a beautiful harpist ! A number of guests stayed overnight and loved the rooms and breakfast!
