Doddington Hall is a romantic Elizabethan country house wedding venue in Lincolnshire, set within beautiful gardens and rolling countryside. Privately owned and lived in, it offers an authentic, characterful setting for couples looking for a wedding that feels personal, relaxed and truly memorable.
At the heart of celebrations is the Coach House our stylish, thoughtfully restored wedding venue with a light-filled dining space, exposed beams and a secluded walled garden. It’s a flexible setting ideal for both intimate weddings and larger celebrations, all with exclusive use for your day.
We’re licensed for civil ceremonies in a range of stunning spaces, from the impressive Long Gallery within the Hall to the Coach House and outdoor garden, allowing you to create a wedding that feels completely your own while keeping everything in one beautiful location.
Food is a highlight of weddings at Doddington. Our menus are built around seasonal estate-reared and locally sourced produce, including our own Lincoln Red beef, game and ingredients from the kitchen garden. The result is generous, flavour-led dining that feels special.
Couples and guests can also stay on site in our collection of estate accommodation, all within easy walking distance of the venue, helping the whole experience feel seamless and relaxed from the night before through to the day itself.

Absolutely stunning venue and grounds; great food; professional, friendly and helpful team; and beautiful well-maintained accommodation that allowed us to have our whole family stay on site. Our day ran so smoothly and went so well thanks to the team at Doddington. They planned every detail and put us at ease about everything, and offered really helpful suggestions. Everyone commented on how great it was and they just made our whole day and whole planning run so smoothly. They were great at putting us at ease, throughout the whole 2 years of planning, and especially on the lead up to the wedding. On the day they were all just incredible - every staff member and the food was just amazing.Could not recommend Doddington Hall enough! Everything about the venue - the staff, the food, the service, the venue itself - all was 10/10. Everyone commented on how great it was and they just made our whole day and whole planning run so smoothly. The setting was absolutely beautiful, with the gardens providing the perfect backdrop for the ceremony. The staff were outstanding – attentive, helpful, and nothing was too much trouble. They made everything run seamlessly so we could just relax and enjoy the moment. The food was incredible and so many of our guests commented on how much they enjoyed it. We had our wedding at Doddington Hall in the Coach House and it truly was a fairytale. The setting was absolutely beautiful, with the gardens providing the perfect backdrop for the ceremony. Nothing was too much for the staff from the moment we booked. The staff on the day were incredible and Leah was amazing for making sure our day went without a single issue. The venue was incredible and was always our first choice as a venue. We don't have a single fault and are so glad we were lucky enough to get married there. How much does a wedding at Doddington Hall cost?
We offer a range of packages and bespoke options depending on your date, guest numbers and preferences. The best way to receive an accurate quote is after a viewing where we can tailor everything to you.
Do you offer exclusive use?
Yes, all weddings at the Coach House include exclusive use for the day, plus access from 12 noon the day before to set up and enjoy the lead up to your celebrations.
What is your capacity?
Up to 120 guests for the wedding breakfast and up to 150 for the evening reception.
Can we have our ceremony at Doddington Hall?
Yes, we’re licensed for civil ceremonies in the Long Gallery, the Coach House and the walled garden.
Is accommodation available on site?
Yes, we offer a range of estate accommodation within walking distance of the venue for you and your guests.
Do you allow dogs?
We understand dogs are a huge part of your life! So of course they are welcome to attend your wedding ceremony and stay for some photos. We kindly ask that they are picked up before our food service.
Do you provide food and drink?
Yes, all catering is in-house, with seasonal menus built around estate-reared and locally sourced produce.
