Words can’t express how much both my husband and I loved our magical perfect wedding day. (Even the Sun came out). However we are going to try...... From meeting Laura and Wendy last March, the wedding team. We found them both helpfully, approachable and knowledgeable going out of their way over the 18 months of planning to make our day perfect for us. Also answering our 5 million questions. Prior to our day we met with Michael and Wendy to discuss timings etc, Easing our last minute nerves. We had both planned a surprise for each other on the day which both Michael and Wendy managed to keep our respected surprises just that a surprise!!!!! The day was PERFECT!!!!!!! Michael and and all the staff at the hotel were fantastic. We had two elderly disabled relatives coming to the wedding. The staff were excellent looking after them going above and beyond to the point of the staff the following morning bringing them over for breakfast and packing their room for them. There is not one staff member we can say anything negative about. They were all excellent and professional. Food wow!!!! We have had nothing but compliments about the food! No one went hungry!! Please pass are compliments onto the chef and their entire team and hope they liked the cake 👍. We know there was a lot of work and people behind the scenes. Even the ‘picky’ guests had a clean plate. Bar again excellent!! Prices were on the high side for spirts and mixers but pints were pretty respectable. Although we did feel sorry for the gentleman at the residents bar who we kept busy until the early hours as the celebrations continued. We didn’t want the day to end and neither did our guests who rolled in there beds gone 3am. Breakfast excellent again!!!! Everyone loved the buffet style breakfast. Again the staff went above and beyond looking after relatives who were traveling home to America and even took care of a late guest the morning of the wedding who couldn’t manage the 3:40am finish in the bar the day before the wedding and turned up late for breakfast. Overall we would both fully recommend Kilhey Court. We are both big believers in treating people how you would like to be treated. As such every member of staff involved in our day we wanted them to feel as much a part of the day as are guests. We have had nothing but praise from all our guests about the venue and staffs professionalism. I was literally in tears saying Thank you to staff as we left. The layout of our whole day worked. We had the Tennyson suite venue and with people who struggled to walk distances were able to managed the room transitions. We didn’t realise at the time but the larger venue (New build) just wouldn’t have worked for us with our numbers (70 - 90) and people walking issues On a side note Micheal obviously having an abundance of experience had his little quirks. Giving the children their meals a couple of minutes before the adults work very well as the children were all seated prior to the guests food being served. With it being our wedding he also tried to ensure that we were the first to try the canopies and the evening bacon butties. Little things like this but in our case wasn’t needed but some couples I think would have appreciated it. We were on to much of a high with the actual guests and venue that we went without. From the grooms perspective a lot of little additions arose on the day that the staff catered for which wasn’t previously planned for. For example coffee for the bridesmaids whilst getting make up done and tea for our elderly guests as they waited for their early check In. ‘Thankyou Kilhey Court for all your efforts, you made the day perfect for us.

I recently got married at Kilhey Court in the Lakeside Suite and the service we received both in the lead up to the wedding & on the day itself was fantastic. In particular Laura Bebb and Ashraf were both superb and so helpful, they couldn't do enough for us. We had a little concern after the wedding and they both resolved it so quickly and without hesitation. If anyone were to ask if I would recommend this venue I would say yes all day long. 10/10 I cant thank them enough

Spent the night here recently as we were attending a family wedding at a nearby venue. The hotel is set in a nice location with easy access to nearby towns. Room was very comfortable and all we needed for a 1 night stay. We didn’t use the restaurant as we ate at the nearby White Crow on the way to the hotel, however we had a drink in the bar and the prices seemed quite reasonable. If we were in the area and managed to secure the hotel for the price we paid then we would stay again.

My daughter and now son in law got married here on Friday, 28th December. The rooms were lovely, my daughter and I stayed in a suite the night before the wedding and I kept the suite to stay in with my partner for the night of the wedding. Lovely room and loved the bathroom with the jacuzzi bath - I think there should have been bathrobes as there were 2 hangers but none appeared for either night :(, other than that I had a wonderful stay. The staff were attentive without being intrusive and my daughter and son in laws day was amazing. They were both very happy all day. Lovely venue and lovely hotel. The meal was delicious and the evening buffet was plentiful. The surroundings are gorgeous and there is a spa and pool that I know a few overnight guests visited.

We had our fairytale wedding here, Wendy was our co-coordinator, who was wonderful from day one, Ash looked after us all, going above and beyond. Such an organised and beautiful day, thank you so much for making it such a special and memorable day

My partner and I have recently booked are wedding at this hotel. As a gift we got a afternoon tea voucher. I decided to take my partners mum so I could show her the venue. I didn’t know what to expect for the afternoon tea but WOW. As you can see from the photo loads of cakes which was high quality and home made scones. The sandwiches were lovely and fresh clearly not made and left standing. The staff were so friendly laughing and joking with us, both myself and my mother in law to be were very impressed. Fully recommend booking the afternoon tea at Kilhey court. We ended up taking some cakes home as we were full.

My husband and I married at Kilhey Court in March and we cannot express how fantastic the day was. We like to thank Laura who was great at planning everything before the Big Day and dealt with any last minute requests. We would like thank Angus and the rest of the night staff who saw us dancing into the early hours of the morning. We would like to say a special big thank you to Ash our wedding co-ordinator on the day. He had a very relaxed manner and was great at calming my pre-wedding nerves and was very attentive throughout the whole day. He looked after the guests and had everything planned so we didn’t have to worry about anything (If you could pass these comments onto them). The guests really liked the venue. The only issue there was, was those guests staying overnight were unable to check into their rooms until the early afternoon. Some guests would have like to have had their room earlier in the morning to get ready and freshen up. Although they found the rooms comfortable and clean with a breakfast the next day and the of the use of the spa. As a wedding venue Kilhey Court is a beautiful traditional building and gardens. We had stayed there previously for an overnight stay and really liked the standard of the rooms and the building in general which was why we considered it when looking at venues. Compared to other venues we looked at, the package we chose at Kilhey Court was very good value for money especially as we were on a tight budget. There was a lot of flexibility with our package e.g. the choice of having canapes, table decorations etc. so we had a lot of options to choose from to tailer it to what we wanted. We would highly recommend Kilhey Court as a wedding venue- you won’t be disappointed!

Me and my wife had our wedding back in December 2017 at Kilhey Court and would firstly like to say it was a great experience and everything about the wedding went so smoothly on the day, this I feel no part helped with the smooth transition in arrangements made between ourselves and our wedding co-ordinator at the time. Not just that on the day of the wedding when my wife was up early there was someone around to make her a coffee in the main reception and took the time to talk to her, making her nerves go away. I would recommend your venue to hold a wedding to anyone who asked. Within our package was a anniversary meal which we should have had in December, but due to us having a baby in August we asked if we would could postpone this for later in the year, which we were told would not be a problem. We were very grateful for this as you can appreciate. We then asked if we could change this to coming at lunch rather than evening meal to help us out with the baby and again was told this wasn't a problem. The fact that before we had already come for our meal you were letting us make these changes I felt that the service we were receiving was fantastic. We arrange to come this Sunday for our meal and from start to finished we were made to feel so welcome we couldn't have asked for a better meal. From the staff on entering the premises to leaving we were looked after and helped with anything we needed. The staff were also so friendly with my 5 month old baby girl, we have been other places and they have in now way shown the compassion of having such a young baby as what your staff did when she was crying and also to take the time to stop and talk to her even though they had other things to do. The food itself was so delicious, even my baby girl like the mash (was told it was made by Nelson so compliments to him and the rest of the chefs as well). I would hope you pass on my feedback on to the staff in question as they deserve the plaudits for a great wedding and meal. You will definitely be seeing us again and next time we will probably stay as well and use the facilities (wanted to do this this time but would have been hard with a 5 month old)

Just returned from my daughters wedding yesterday. Everything was PERFECT. The staff extremely courteous and helpful. Our M.O.C. Vlad had everything under control and everything ran so smoothly. The room was perfect for 120 plus guests. I noted on previous recent reviews disappointment in the rooms. Ours was lovely,clean very comfortable bed. My niece had a jacuzzi in her room which was fab. Our quests all praised the hotel and staff and to finish it off we had a lovely breakfast. I certainly would recommend this wedding venue
