Wedding venue open days offer a unique opportunity to explore the venue, envision your special day, and meet the staff who will help bring your vision to life. You might also get a chance to meet the venue’s recommended suppliers, and even sample canapés and a glass of bubbly!

February 2025
Lancrigg
Date and time: 1st February 2025, 11am – 4pm
We’re thrilled that you will be joining us for our Winter Open Day. This will be a perfect opportunity to see our beautiful Lake District venue all dressed up for a wedding, and we can’t wait to share it with you!
Upon arrival, you will be welcomed with a glass of fizz and a delicious selection of canapés, courtesy of the amazing team at Karen Rhodes Catering. You will also have the chance to sample some exquisite cake from the fabulous Bramble and Wild Bakery, and we’ll have a selection of our wines available to try too.
Feel free to explore our stunning estate at your leisure, taking in the historic house, our beautiful barn, and gorgeous grounds. There will be a couple of organised tours available, led by Simon, the owner of Lancrigg, who will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
We are delighted to announce that our ‘Dream Team’ of suppliers will also be present, including fabulous wedding photographers, an amazing florist, a super talented stationer, and even a dog chaperone. They will be on hand to offer advice and help you plan your perfect wedding.
We are excited to reveal an exclusive offer for any couples who book their wedding with us on the day. You will receive our Silver Drinks Package absolutely free! This package, usually priced at £25 per head, includes:
- A 125 ml glass of prosecco or a 330 ml bottle of beer for the reception
- Half a bottle of wine per head (select from a limited wine list) to enjoy during the meal
- A 125 ml glass of prosecco for toasts
We realise that you’ll be taking in lots of information at over the course of the Open Day, so we’ll give you until Wednesday 5th February to book your wedding with us and take advantage of this fantastic deal.
