Stockton House

On behalf of my husband Tone and I, we got married at Stockton on 22.3.25 we were the first wedding of the year and it was nothing short of incredible. The day ran like clockwork, Amy and the team worked tiredlessly behind the scenes all day to make the day as perfect as it was. The venue itself is absolutely stunning, such a clean and stylish building and captures just pure elegance in its finest. Highly recommend it.

Trying to find the words to describe Stockton House and the amazing staff is truly difficult. From meeting Amy at the Christmas fayre to our first visit at Stockton meeting Ellie and Tom nothing was too much trouble. The warmth, kindness and laughs was all we needed and the fact that Mabel our dog was allowed to come With us to every visit. The level of care and detail by the whole team was like nothing we had ever experienced, nothing was too much trouble and guidance was given when needed or asked for. The venue is absolutely beautiful, the food by Tom is some of the best we have ever eaten and we are food people but the personalities of the staff, the friendliness, the feeling like you are part of the family is something that we will hold in our hearts forever. Our wedding day was the best day of our lives, and that is thanks to Amy, Ellie, Tom and the fantastic team at Stockton. Please don’t hesitate if you are looking at this venue, it’s truly perfect. I’ve had the pleasure of working at Stockton House as a wedding celebrant, and honestly, it’s just gorgeous. It’s got everything you could want for a wedding day—a variety of beautifully styled rooms and a stunning garden for ceremonies, and exclusive access, which just makes the whole experience feel extra special. What really makes Stockton House stand out, though, is the incredible team. Amy and her crew are amazing! They genuinely care about making every couple’s day perfect and go out of their way to make everything run smoothly. You can tell they love what they do, and it shows in all the little details. If you’re looking for a venue that’s not only beautiful but also has a team who will make you feel so well looked after, Stockton House is it. It’s an absolute gem, and I can’t recommend it enough!

Stockton House is one of our favourite wedding venues to work at. Firstly, it is beautiful, but more than that it is homely, the staff are exceptional, so friendly, attentive (without being overbearing) and more than willing to go the extra mile for their guests. I love that couples can get married inside, outside, or even at the church which is right next to Stockton House - so many options! The food is incredible too, we have been lucky enough to sample a few nibbles now and again! I highly recommend Stockton to anyone looking for a wedding venue, you just need to visit it once to see how special this place is!

We held our wedding party at Stockton House last weekend and had an absolutely amazing time. The venue is stunning and the bedrooms are beautiful, we did not want to leave. It’s like a home away from home, but with much better decor and grandeur! From start to finish the team were brilliant, a special thanks to Amy our event manager, the loveliest lady! So accommodating and she really genuinely cares. Nothing is too much trouble and she really went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable and ensure our party ran seamlessly. Amy has become a friend throughout this process, we really cannot thank her enough. Another huge thanks to Chef Tom. Wow, our Greek gyros wraps were incredible. So many of our guests commented on how good they were, and the portion size was so generous. Breakfast the next day in their dining room was also great and really finished off the weekend perfectly. M&S were on hand in the morning to bring us breakfast, and I know they also play an important role with the running of the venue and wedding/event prep. Again, lovely ladies who were so helpful and welcoming. All in all a fantastic wedding and party venue, we could not recommend enough. A very special place for us!

We signed up to have our wedding at Stockton House when it was an abandoned house, a number of vision boards and the simple concept of ‘your wedding your way’. Everything about the venue is amazing, from the location, the decor, the grounds and most importantly the team who look after you and your guests. If you are looking for a wedding venue where you plan the day exactly how you want, Stockton House is your venue. Amy and Ellie are the perfect duo to help you plan your day (or, as we had, a wedding weekend). They listen to your ideas, bring them to life and provide valuable input to add to them. On the day, they cannot do enough for you and your guests. Tom, the chef, is honestly the best. He helped us design the most perfect menu for the whole weekend. The icing on the cake was him making a ‘sticky toffee tiramisu’ which was a big hit! Finally, no review would be complete without mentioning the wonderful Mandy and Sue, who work tirelessly to make sure everything runs smoothly. If you are looking for the perfect wedding venue, we cannot recommend Stockton House and the team enough.

Stockton house’s idea of your day, your way is genuine truth. Amy, Ellie, Tom and the whole team go above and beyond to provide an experience like no other. Where, by the end, you are friends and not just customers. Not only in every sense of a wedding day, but far beyond that. We were incredibly worried about our reactive dog. The team went out their way over months to gain his trust and become his friend as well - meaning we were able to have him be a true part of our day, like we had dreamed. The answer was never no, there was always a solution, they all worked tirelessly around the clock to give us the best treatment and exactly what we wanted for our day. They treat their suppliers, and customers, with the upmost dignity and respect, so many suppliers told us how wonderful it is to work at Stockton. It is a magical venue and an amazing family to become part of - you would not regret your decision with this venue and these fantastic people.

Stunning property, gorgeous views, beautiful bedrooms and general accommodation, incredibly nice, sweet, polite and helpful staff. Made the entire process of wedding planning and execution seamless! Amy & Ellie were amazing and incredibly helpful through each step of making our dream celebrations come to life! Could not have picked a better venue and could not have asked for a better team! Loved every minute of it! Amy even helped me by putting the laces on my trainers when my feet in heels started to kill me. To say the service was above and beyond is an understatement!

We could not have asked for more from our wedding venue and choosing Stockton House for our wedding was the best decision ever. We took a risk and booked Stockton in 2022 when renovations had barely started and never looked back. Stockton House is absolutely beautiful and it was amazing to see all of the vision boards and ideas come to life; we will never forget the feelings of excitement when we visited for the first time. The whole planning process was smooth and Amy, Ellie and Tom supported us along the way. We felt so welcome each time we visited Stockton and we were both so comfortable there. Nothing was too much trouble; from helping and encouraging Ilya when he felt nervous about his speech and sitting with him as he ran through it the day before, to Amy crawling around on the bridal suite floor with me when I lost the back of my earring (not once but twice) just as I needed to get into my dress! We could not have been more supported by the fantastic team at Stockton. The food was amazing from our menu tasting, to the meal the evening before the wedding, on the day, and not forgetting breakfast! Tom is an incredible chef and we are so grateful that he was able to make our favourite Russian dessert; he put so much time and effort into this and it was amazing. All of our guests commented on how much they enjoyed the food! Our wedding day was truly the best day of our lives and Stockton House was the perfect venue for us. We only wish we could do it all over again. Stockton now feels like a second home and the team have become friends and we can’t wait to visit again in the future. I cannot recommend this amazing venue enough! Thank you SO much for making our wedding dreams come true.
