Iscoyd is surrounded by 18th Century Parkland and stunning gardens overlooking the borders of North Wales, Shropshire and Cheshire. Although Iscoyd is large enough to hold 160 people for a wedding reception and has recently been restored to award winning acclaim, it still retains the character, history and welcoming warmth of a family home. This warmth gives Iscoyd a magical way of making everyone feel at ease, creating an environment that is both informal and relaxed but wonderfully comfortable and luxurious, full of little details that will make you remember Iscoyd forever. The traditional, classical and historical features of the house effortlessly mix with the contemporary interior design and innovative ceremony and dining spaces, taking the best of the past and combining it with the beauty of the present.
We have a choice of three beautiful, licensed ceremony rooms, an incredible outdoor space (Welsh weather permitting!) and the beautiful St Mary’s Whitewell Church on the edge of the estate no more than a mile away from the house. Included in the venue hire cost is our idyllic, 5 bedroom half-timbered cottage on the edge of the park, which is reserved for the wedding party from 3pm the day before your wedding. Iscoyd can accommodate up to 36 guests, with 9 bedrooms in the main house- and our Stable Rooms, Laundry Cottage and School House just across the courtyard, as well as our Wagon, positioned close to the lake. There are beautiful reception rooms within the house and stunning gardens, for all your drinking and dancing needs. For those with a smaller, more intimate wedding in mind, our recently unveiled Coach House is the perfect mix of elegance and rustic charm, with exposed beams, a fully fitted bar and its own garden terrace, capable of ceremonies and dining experiences of up to 60.
At Iscoyd you can choose whether to have the house for one, two or three days, or even longer by arrangement. Our ethos is built upon getting to know every couple, and alongside our fantastic wedding team, work with them to create their dream vision. Due to the bespoke nature of Iscoyd, we do not offer package weddings- everything we do here is entirely unique and built around the happy couple. When you choose Iscoyd Park for your wedding, you’ll have exclusive use of the entire venue – just you, your loved ones, and our dedicated team to look after you. Our beautiful grounds and gardens are yours to explore, offering perfect spots for photos, games, and quiet moments. The elegant Bridal Suite provides a luxurious space to get ready in and for the newlyweds to retreat to after the celebrations. The Marquee is a stunning, glass-fronted and fully insulated space that seats up to 160 guests, ideal for your wedding breakfast- and for your evening celebrations, the Garden Room is transformed into the white marble dance floor of your dreams. We provide all the essentials – tables, chairs, glassware, and linens, as well as bar and housekeeping staff – along with thoughtful touches like our silver antique cake stand and knife, wooden easels for your signage, our Bose sound and microphone systems, free Wi-Fi, ample private parking, and a backup generator to ensure the celebrations never stop, regardless of the weather.
In addition to this, your dedicated wedding coordinator will be by your side throughout the planning process (just a phone call away!) and on the day itself, creating a bespoke itinerary, coordinating suppliers, solving problems, and making sure everything runs seamlessly so you can relax and enjoy every moment.
To make your day even more special, we include an abundance of candles, outdoor lanterns, fire pits, fresh flowers throughout the house, luxurious bath products, fluffy robes, tea, coffee and homemade biscuits in every room, cosy log fires, libraries of books, an in-house letterbox for all your cards, and charming outdoor games.
Your venue hire also includes a 9 Course tasting, where you will sample a delicious range of our menu, as well as cocktails, wine pairings and canapes.
Every detail is considered to create a truly magical and unforgettable wedding experience at Iscoyd Park.

When we were looking for venues, nothing compared to Iscoyd, not only are the house and grounds absolutely beautiful but theres something that just makes you feel at home every time you visit. The fresh flowers and the neom scented candles in the rooms are a lovely touch and the pictures of family weddings dotted around set the scene. You do feel like you have become part of the family. Something that feels like only Phil and Susie can pull off. Though out our experience the team have been nothing but wonderful. We owe Ffi, Charlotte and Chelsie so much. Any wedmin and emails were always answered promptly, these ladies were happy to accommodate us on the phone, in zoom calls and when allowed meeting face to face. Even in the face of a pandemic the Iscoyd park team put us first and went above and beyond to help abate any worries we had. I must also say that each of the vendors we used for our day have also said that the Iscoyd team are some of the best they have ever worked with, happy to accommodate with any query or task. To be told at the end of the evening that the team were incredibly helpful and by far the best to work with was lovely. As much as we we’re delighted to have finally had our Wedding day we are also a little sad that we wont get to see or speak to the team as much as we have. We will absolutely be booking overnight stays, supper clubs and afternoon teas, we’re not quite ready to say goodbye just yet. The house is absolutely stunning, the gardens and bedrooms are beautiful, but the really special thing about Iscoyd is the amazing team of people that run it. We were lucky enough to have help from Charlie and Ffi in planning but it was Ffi who was with us on our wedding weekend and she was just amazing. All our friends and family adored her, she has such a lovely spirit, nothing was too much trouble and we had so much fun with her. From the moment we visited for the first time and were shown round by Charlie to the day we were waved off by Ffi after our wedding we were completely overwhelmed by how warm and welcoming we were made to feel by the entire team at Iscoyd. From day one I was reassured by Charlotte and the team that they could give us a day better than we ever hoped for. Over the past weeks, as the virus spread through Europe, Iscoyd Park were proactive in recommending we consider moving our wedding day. Eventually they facilitated a reschedule from May to September free of charge. As we carry on not knowing what will happen from one day to the next, I know that when it comes to our biggest day, everyone and everything will be ok. We cannot thank them enough.
