Situated on the edge of the Wolds, Bunny Hill is a modern barn with a high-end luxury interior. A peaceful and private location with stunning grounds and woodland perfect for your photographs. There's luxury accommodation for up to 35 guests including a wedding suite with Jacuzzi and accessible options should you have guests with additional needs. Operating much like a boutique hotel, you'll have everything they need in-house including catering and bar services as well as on-the-day coordination, and a friendly front-of-house team. We offer weddings all year round with a licence for civil weddings indoors and out.

The day was seamless from start to finish, the co-ordinators are always one step ahead and have everything in hand so that you can sit back and enjoy your day! Nothing was too much trouble and our day was perfect because of them! The venue and accommodation are beautiful. We had a Thursday wedding so stayed the evening before with some of our family and friends. We had a bbq & the bar was open for drinks which meant we could really make the most of the venue and our time there. The venue is full of rustic charm but has all of the modern touches expected. Ample space for our large guest numbers both day and night. The bright and airy ceremony space was the perfect setting for our big moment. With plenty of outdoor space, we made good use of this especially as we had such a glorious sunny day! The bar has everything you'd want to drink and at a fair price. Being such a large bar space, meant friends and family never waited long got a drink. The accommodation is such a plus. It allowed us to have lots of our friends and family stay close by. All our guests loved the rooms and communal spaces too. Above all, the best part of bunny hill are the staff. You are made to feel so welcome and special. The stress of planning a wedding is eased as they are there every step of the way. On the day itself, they work tirelessly to ensure everything goes to plan, always with a smile on their faces! We can't recommend Bunny Hill weddings enough. From our first visit a year ago, we instantly knew it was the one for us. You know how you just get the feel as soon as you walk into somewhere! Paul and Sharon made us feel like family and the venue blew us away. From the layout of the venue, the accommodation which is beautiful and how they arrange the little things like opening the bar the night before so you can see family/friends before the big day. The whole team are outstanding and a real credit to the venue. We were appointed Charlotte as our coordinator and we can’t sing her praises enough. She was so organised (when we weren’t), kept in touch with us regularly and made sure every detail (some that we didn’t even think of) was arranged. She really went above and beyond and thank you doesn’t feel enough for her. Charlotte made sure we had everything and more to make our day so perfect and even left our guests saying how amazing she was. We were left feeling like we had known her for years and felt like she was not just our wedding coordinator but a friend at our wedding. The venues suppliers ‘The Hog and Apple’ supplied the most delicious food for our guests. The compliments we received were nothing short of amazing. We cannot recommend the venue enough to anyone looking for somewhere so romantic, unique and beautiful for their special day. Just to put it into a little perspective, some of our guests questioned why we had chosen somewhere a little further a field from us. However when they arrived, them guests made a point of complimenting the venue and location and said they understood why we had chosen the venue. From the moment we met, James was accommodating professional and a pleasure to work with. He was always on hand to help with anything including last minute stressful situations! The team at bunny hill were amazing and our day was absolutely perfect .We felt so well looked after. Thank you so much for making the best day of our lives absolutely perfect. Describe the best wedding that happened at your venue?
This would have to be our daughter's wedding. When we couldn't find a Yorkshire barn that ticked all the boxes we decided to convert our old grain barn. We were only intending to spruce it up but we got seriously carried away. Being able to host our daughter's wedding from home was extremely hard work but so rewarding. It's given us a venue to share with you that has that family run personal feel. Being purpose built for our daughters wedding, there has been no expense spared and so much attention to detail and love put into creating the perfect venue.
What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Spend your budget wisely on the things that really matter to you as a couple. If you don't eat cake, don't buy a cake, think of an alternative option that really reflects your personality as a couple. We're loving seeing Champagne towers and of course cheese towers, we've even had a pork pie cake.
What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
As we offer so much freedom and flexibility, we've seen lots. The most memorable tend to be outdoors, we've had a shooting range, a rodeo bull, llamas and even a helicopter.

Our couples will always be the celebrities on their wedding day, whoever they are.

Steak pie with a side of ale served in a mini Steiner.

Wood fired pizza with a choice of toppings.
What is your venue's most unique feature?
Our cool mezzanine lounge. You choose what's on draught, hand pick the tunes, then relax with your friends and family in your very own bar whilst keeping an eye on who's throwing the shapes on the dance floor below.
What part of your business are you most proud of?
As a small family run business we are most proud of the personal relationship the team share with each of our couples. A friendly helping hand along with guidance and expertise is what every couple needs to relax and enjoy their time with us.
