On the day itself, everything ran seamlessly — that’s entirely down to you & your incredible team. Everyone was so attentive, calm, & genuinely caring. You all went above & beyond, not only for us but for our guests too. From washing & sterilising baby bottles, to helping with my dress, to making sure everyone’s dietary needs were catered for. Every single detail was thought of. Words can’t express how grateful we areOn the day itself, everything ran seamlessly — that’s entirely down to you & your incredible team. We got married at Saltmarshe Hall 22nd May 2025! From the moment we arrived the afternoon before it was the most amazing experience. We were made to feel so relaxed and at home, Amy (who was just the most amazing wedding coordinator from start to finish) took everything from me the night before, and made me feel so calm … this theme continues! The morning of the wedding was all go, and the nerves kicked in during the morning for the both of us, but who was on hand to calm those nerves … Amy! I don’t think we could have got through the day without her, there were times where we just needed to be told ‘it is your day you can do what you want’ and with that the formal wear was gone and we changed into comfy clothes; with no judgement! Saltmarshe Hall is the most magical and stunning venue. On our first visit, we walked through the main doors, looked at each other and said this is the one! The hall is stunning - the stairs and morning room took our breath away. The gardens also made the perfect backdrop for our wedding photos, it is just beautiful. Also, being able to use the whole hall just made the day feel so relaxed and that is just what we wanted, it was perfect and we owe that to Saltmarshe Hall and its amazing team! We honestly can’t thank Amy enough, from the very start she was there to help with any questions, nothing felt too much trouble, even after our many questions. It was a small wedding, but Amy helped us see how our vision and day could look and made that vision and more happen on the day! If we could relive the day again we would, it was just perfect! Our perfect day! 🤍 Perfect venue. Perfect staff (especially Ashleigh). Perfect food & drink. Perfect rooms. Perfect gardens. Perfect coordination. Perfect EVERYTHING! We can’t recommend this place and their amazing staff enough. From our first viewing of the Hall to leaving after breakfast the day after our wedding everything went amazingly. Ashleigh goes above and beyond answering all of your questions so quickly, and helping with any problems you may think you have. Everyone (bridesmaids & groomsmen) were kept in order and all knew their ‘jobs’ and places ready for us to say ‘I do’. Nerves are out of the window whenever Ashleigh is around calming you down and making you feel at ease. Our day couldn’t have gone any smoother and that’s all thanks to the amazing staff. Ashleigh feels more like a bestie rather than your wedding coordinator! The gardens and Hall itself are just unreal and your photos turn out better than you could’ve ever imagined. When we were choosing our venue for our special day, we knew the moment we stepped into Saltmarshe Hall that it was the place we wanted. We immediately loved the homely feel that it had, and the warm welcome from staff put us straight at ease. Thinking that the stunning grounds and beautiful house could be the backdrop for our wedding day made both of us emotional and we could not wait for our day. All of the staff went above and beyond to make sure that our day was just perfect. The unexpected beautiful weather made our day all that we could have hoped for and more! A special shoutout to Ashleigh - nothing that we asked for was too much and she answered all of our million questions quickly and supported us both through the crazy process of planning a wedding! She had thought of things we had not even considered and ensured our day ran without a hitch. Throughout December they have many Christmas trees up around the hall, beautiful garlands down the stairs & across the fireplaces. The fires were on which really added to that wintery cosy feeling. The staff here are also incredible, they simply cannot do enough for you. Amy was our coordinator, she was incredible the day ran so smoothly.Our wedding in December 2024. It truly is such a stunning venue, offering the grandeur of a stately home, whilst also feeling cosy & homely. All members of staff were exceptional in all aspects of our stay - welcoming and helpful reception staff, breakfast, bar and serving staff on hand making sure we all had everything we needed. We would like to make special mention to Ellie and David who really went above and beyond, they are an absolute credit to the Saltmarshe team. Both knowledgeable and showing a genuine interest in their work, their surroundings and the history of the hall. We went to Saltmarshe Hall many times in the run up to our wedding, and every time was just as beautiful and perfect as the last. We already can't wait to return.
